A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. R98-127, BY AMENDING
SECTION 2, CHANGING THE DATE OF THE FIRST
pUBLIC HEARING TO SEPTEMBER 3, 1998, AT
6:30 P.M. TO COMPLY WITH TRIM
REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVEP~ABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065 (TRIM), the
City Commission, on July 27, 1998, adopted Resolution No. R98-
127, which set -[ts roll back millage rate, proposed millage
rate and set' forth the date, time and place of the first
public hearing; and
WHEREAS, to comply with TRIM requirements, the hearing
date must be 65 days from the date of certification of July 1,
1998, which date should be September 3, 1998;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, hereby amends Resolution No. R98-t27, dated
July 27, 1998, by changing the date of the First Public
from September 2, 1998, to September 3, 1998, at 6:30
P.M., to be held in Commission Chambers', City Hall, 100 East
Boynton Beach Boulevard, as the date, time and place of the
first public hearing to consider the proposed millage rate and
the tentative budget.
Section 3. Each and every other Section of said
Resolution, not herein specifically amended shall remain in
full force and effect as enacted.
Section 4,.. If any clause, section, or other part of
this Resolution shall be held by any Court of competent
jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid, such
unconstitutional or invalid part shall be considered as
eliminated and in no way affecting the validity of the other
provisions of this Resolution. .
Section 5_ All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
Section 6. This ResolUtion shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
