AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE 88-17 SECTION 11. TO
CORRECT A SCRIVENER'S ERROR CONTAINED
THEREIN RELATING TO CONDITIONAL USES;
PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER
SECTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 88-17 SHALL
REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS
PREVIOUSLY ENACTED; PROVIDING FOR
CODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of May, 1988, the City
Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, duly
adopted Ordinance No. 88-17; and
WHEREAS, it' appears that a scrivener's error was made
in Section 11 of said Ordinance by incorrectly omitting an
asterisk (*) to identify as a conditional use the sale or
rental of new or used automobiles, boats, recreation
vehicles, utility trailers, and commercial trucks;
WHEREAS, the City Commission now desires to correct
said scrivener's error.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO~H~ISSION
OF THE CITY OF BO~N BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That Section 11 of Ordinance No. 88-17,
relating to Appendix A - Zoning, Section 6. Subsection D.
C-4 General Commercial District. sub, subsection 1.d. is
hereby amended by adding the words and figures in underlined
type as follows:
1. d. Sale or rental of new or used
automobiles, boats, recreation vehicles,
utility trailers, and commercial
trucks.*
Section 2: Each and every other provision of Ordinance
No. 88-17 shall remain in full force and effect as
previously enacted.
Section 3: Authority is hereby granted to codify the
correction contained in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
