A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE ONE YEAR RENEWAL OF THE
LAKE DIVING CONTRACT NINE LAl. S AT THE
LINKS AT BOYNTON BEACH GQ F COURSE
BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOYNTON. EACH AND
BIRDIE GOLF BALL COMPANY, JNC., AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

14 WHEREAS, on February 4, 2003, the City Commis~ion entered into a Contract
15 granting Birdie Golf the exclusive right to retrieve golf balls tom the nine (9) lakes at the
16 Links at Boynton Beach Golf Course; and
17 WHEREAS, pursuant to paragraph 3 of that Agreeme*t the term of the Agreement
18 was for a period of thirty-six (36) months from February 15, 2p06, and that the parties may
19 renew the Agreement in writing on an annual basis.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THEI CITY COMMISSION OF
21 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
22 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are here~y ratified and confirmed as
23 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of tHis Resolution upon adoption
24 hereof.

Section 2.
The City Commission of the City of Bbynton Beach, Florida does

26 hereby authorize the renewal of the Lake Diving Contract/Nine tiakes at the Links at Boynton
27 Beach Golf Course dated February 4, 2003, for one (1) addit[~nal year based on the same
28 terms and conditions as the original Agreement.

Section 3.
This Resolution shall become effective imtediatelY upon passage.
