PUBLIC AUDIENCE
Mark Leahy, West Palm Beach,
congratulated Boynton Beach and the surrounding areas for the
service of healing racism and uniting mankind. Mr. Leahy explained that he is part of a group of
artists who are planning an event to be held in celebration of Martin Luther King's birthday. The
group in charge of this event intends to put together a calendar. Their original intention was to have
artists donate art work for the calendar. However, when this Youth Expo took place, Mr. Leahy
received a phone call urging him to get over to the Boynton Beach Mall to view the art work dealing
with the subject of harmony which was submitted by school students. Mr. Leahy was amazed at the
quality of the art and the creative writing. He now plans to use some of this material as part of the
calendar. He thanked everyone for working to raise the awareness of race unity.
Mr. Borovy is active with children and youth as part of his work with the VFW. He congratulated
everyone, and would like to see some of these students receive the VFW's awards for scholarship.
