A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING THE
RESOLUTION TRUST CORPORATION (RTC) TO CONVEY
TO THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH A CERTAIN PARCEL
KNOWN AS 611 N.E. 6TH AVENUE, LOCATED IN THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FOR PUBLIC USE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) has
provided a Notice of Available Properties for Public Use; and
WHEREAS, the following property owned by the RTC qualifies
for conveyance to a public agency for the purpose of
construction of a parking lot for public waterfront and park, or
in-fill construction for low-moderate income people, or office
space for small business incubator programs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Boynton Beach is a Public Agency which
will use the property as a parking lot for public waterfront and
park or in-fill construction program for low-moderate income
people, or renovate the existing structure to house small
business incubator program targeting minority owned businesses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida hereby requests the Resolution Trust Corporation
to convey to the City of Boynton Beach a certain parcel known as
611 N.E. 6th Avenue in the City of Boynton Beach, for the
purpose of construction of a parking lot for public waterfront
and park, or in-fill construction for low-moderate income
clients, or office space for small business incubator programs.
Section 2, That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
