CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY MANUAL CHAPTER: 13 ITS Policy No. 13.01.04 Previous #15.01.04 SECTION: 01 Telephone System Page: 1 of 1 SUBJECT: 04 Long Distance
Access PURPOSE: Long distance access is available by personal identification numbers (PIN), rather than tying access to each telephone instrument. This will allow an authorized long
distance caller to use any phone in the system and restrict non-authorized personnel from making long distance calls. POLICIES: Following are the rules governing long distance access:
Department heads will request the I.T.S. Department to grant long distance access via the Network Authorization Form found on the āSā drive/City Templates/ITS/Network Authorization Form.
Monthly printouts of all long distance calls, by employee, will be provided to the department heads upon request. Personal calls, if permitted, will be reimbursed through Customer Service.
Zero plus long distance via credit card is possible with this system. DEVELOPED BY: I.T.S. Department EFFECTIVE DATE: September 1, 1998 REVISED DATE: July 13, 2001 REVISED DATE: March
