I believe I stated that it met H.U.D. standards, but didn't meet our Code however typically there's an additional
barrier such as a fence or screen enclosure that did meet Code. Having said that, I would not accept the "grid
support system" as an acceptable barrier as it's not recognized by our Code. If you run into a scenario where
there's no approved barrier (screen enclosure or fence), then compliance could be achieved by removing the
water.

(b) The provisions contained herein are supplemental. Nothing
contained in this section shall prohibit the city from enforcing its codes
and ordinances by any other means.
( c ) Unless otherwise specifically stated in this Code, violations of
the City of Boynton Beach Code of Ordinances shall be subject to a
Class II fine, plus any costs assessed by Palm Beach County for
processing citations.
(d) The County shall accept this fee schedule for uncontested
violations, which may be paid by mail and may charge the violator a
reasonable fee for costs incurred in processing each citation.

Buildings, Housing and Construction Regulation The property owner is
responsible for maintaining and keeping their dwellings, dwelling units
and premises safe, sanitary and fit for human habitation. Structures
must be kept illuminated, have proper ventilation, have good sanitation,
have proper heating and have adequate and safe wiring. The property
owner must take proper care in controlling pests and rodents.

items. This code is designed to help generally improve the quality of life
by prohibiting all things detrimental to the health, safety, visual
aesthetics and welfare of the inhabitants within the city.

Property owners shall install and maintain the correctly sized street
numbers to be visible and readable from the adjacent street. Residential
numbers must be four inches in height and commercial numbers must be

A permit is required for the installation of an alarm system. Once the
alarm permit is obtained and you have passed final inspection, you must
register your alarm system with the Boynton Beach Police Department.
You will then receive an alarm decal which must be displayed in a
