Mayor Zack called the meeting to order at 4:00 P. M. and
announced it was a Special Meeting in accordance with Section
56 of the City Charter of Boynton Beach to discuss Village
Royale, Inc.
Mayor Zack announced that a letter had been received from
the City Attorney and he requested Mr. Kohl to read it. Mr.
Kohl read the attached letter from Mr. Moore.
Mr. Kohl stated that after receiving the letter and talking
with Mayor Zack, he was on the phone from 8:30 A. M. until
noon and he talked with the State Attorney and informed him
that Mr. Robert Dittmanwould take over the case for this
situation. Mayor Zack added that they had two attorneys
involved in this case: Mr. David Centola and then Mr. Robert
Dittman, who was the last attorney involved. He suggests
following along with employing Mr. Dit~man.
Mr. Strnad asked if the City ever paid Mr. Dittman the money
owed to him in full for what he requested and ~ir. Kohl re-
plied that it was not paid in full, but $100 was deleted
fromtthe account. Mr. Dittman did accept $800 and he has
payment for the $300 for him now. He added that this must
be done ~sday, as the 14th is Monday.
Mr. DeMarco asked if Mr. Kohl had tried to get &hold of Mr.
Centola and Mr. Kohl replied that he had, but hs is in Fort
Lauderdale all day.
Mr. DeMarco made a motion to obtain Mr. Dittman to proceed
with the case and get it in as soon as possible. Mrs.
Jackson seconded the motion. Under discussion, F~. Strnad
stated this was too sudden for him to take a vote on. He
would not vote without going into further research to find
if we could find someone more capable. Mayor Zack informed
him that they did not have the time. Mr. Strnad asked if
it was possible to ask for a delay and Mr. Kohl replied
that they do not have anattorne~to ask for a delay. Mrs.
Jackson added that they did ask for a delay previously and
were told they could not. She continued if we have another
attorney come into this ~old, it will take him several days
to read all the data. S~meone must be ready to take action
on Monday with backgroun~~. M~. Kohl informed them that in
talking with the State A~ormey, he stated he would get in
touch with Nm. Dittman i~mediately this morning. Mr.

Bludworth said there would be no problem. Mayor Zack clari-
fied that they did not make a c~mittment about Mr. Dittman~
and tried to get Mr. Centola, but they cannot wait until
Monday.
Mr. DeMarce referred to Mr. Aranow being present and asked
about the attorney haShad mentioned and ~&r. Aranow replied
that he had not spoken to their attorney, N~. Gildan, but
in view of the letter Mr. Bludworth sent yesterday, he does
not tD~k it makes too much difference who files the appli-
cation for rehearing. If M~.. Rittman files it, it is okay
with him. Mr. DeMarco asked if it was necessary, would he
help Mr. Dittm~_~ and M~. Aranow replied that he has always
of£ered his assistance at any time.
At this time, Mr. Dittman arrived and Mayor Back introduced
him. Mr. Kohl asked Mr. Dittman if he had gotten inttouch
with the State Attorney or Judge McIntosh ~ud Mr. Dittman
replied that he got in touch with the State Attorney an~
the petition should he filed no later than Monday. M~rs.
Jackson asked if there was a chamce of delaying it and ¥~.
Dittmanreplied: no.

Mayor Zack Yes
in view of the fact
Mr. Aranow, who is
representing the unit
owners at Village
Royale, is satisfied
with ~. Dittman
handling the case,
he will vote yes.
Motion carried 4-0.
Mr. Joseph Aranow requested to speak before adjournment. He
thanked the City for their consideration and effort and actual
accomplishment of getting something done on behal£ of the
people of Village Royale and those he could get to attend on
short notice. Whether we win or lose, he appreciates having
finally gotten a conclusion. He thanked the four Council
members present and ~so Councilman Caldwell, who called him
about this meeting. Mayor Zack thanked everyone for coming

Adjournment
Mrs. Jackson moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Strnad.
Motion carried 4-0 and the meeting was properly adjourned
at 4:10 P. M.
