Please find enclosed the Agenda for the next Veterans Advisory Commission meeting.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2012, at 10:00 AM, in the
Boynton Beach City Hall, 2 floor, Conference Room B, located at 100 E. Boynton
Beach Boulevard.
Copy of the minutes from the May 9, 2012 meeting and other related documents will be
provided at the meeting. Please note that the July 11, 2012 meeting was cancelled by
the Chairperson.
If you are unable to attend the upcoming meeting, or have any questions, please

Please be reminded not to discuss the agenda items with any other Veterans Advisory

Mr. Farrington moved to approve the minutes. The motion was seconded by Mr.
Gavilck and unanimously .

Chair Kaiser advised the Coast Guard committed onu II as someone
else for the Iraqi monument. It was decided monument for the Cuban Missile

Vill. OLD BUSINESS:
8. Veterans Memorial Park Events
Chair Kaiser reviewed the events that would be taking place at the Park. He
commented that it would be a very busy time. St. Josephs School would be returning
this year to help place the flags on the graves. This of begin at 8:30 and
refreshments would be served.
Mr. Bowman advised the Marines, and Marine Reservists from units in West Palm are
coordinating a ceremony at the National Veterans Cemetery on Rt. 441 on May 28
He was invited to attend and invited everyone to attend the event.
The Coast Guard Monument unveiling would be held at 10:00 a.m.
The Flag Day ceremony would be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.
The Marines monument unveiling was scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:00
a.m.
