Code Officer Courtney Cain presented the case and reported he was previously sworn
in. The property is a single - family, homestead dwelling. The property was cited on
February 18, 2005, as the result of a citizen's complaint. The property was cited by
written notice, certified mail, and the respondent was given 15 days to comply.
Bernard Santini, 116 W. Ocean Drive, Boynton Beach, pled guilty. Chairperson
Costantino inquired how much time the respondent needed to comply. He noted that he
has to remove the doors he installed and install doors that are approved by the State.
Mr. Santini said he could comply within 30 days.

Board find that Bernard Santini, Carina Santini and Maria Montejo are in violation of City
of Boynton Beach Code Sections as cited, and moved to order that the Respondents
correct the violation on or before September 16, 2005. The Board has considered the C`1
gravity of the violation, the actions taken by the Respondents, and any previous
violations by the Respondents, and hereby orders that if the Respondents do not
comply with this Order, a fine in the amount of $25.00 per day for each day the violation
continues past September 16, 2005, plus Administrative Costs, shall be imposed. The

owner has asked for time to correct the violations that were the result of the tenant on
the property. The street numbers have been placed on the house. The remaining
violations are removal of some trash and the vehicle in the yard.
Bob Katz, 306 SE 1 Avenue, Boynton Beach, pled guilty and said he notified the
tenant to vacate the premises and the tenant said he would be vacating the premises by
the end of the month. Mr. Katz requested 45 days for compliance.

Based on testimony and evidence presented in Case #05 -1346, Ms. Simshauser moved
that this Board find that Boynton Shipwreck, Inc. is in violation of City of Boynton Beach
Code Sections as cited, and moved to order that the Respondent correct the violations
on or before October 1, 2005. The Board has considered the gravity of the violations,
the actions taken by the Respondent, and any previous violations by the Respondent,
and hereby orders that if the Respondent does not comply with this Order, a fine in the
amount of $25.00 per day for each day the violation continues past October 1, 2005,
plus Administrative Costs, shall be imposed. The Respondent is further ordered to
contact the City of Boynton Beach Code Compliance Division in order to arrange for re-

Mr. Foot inquired if the respondent needed to obtain an occupational license and Officer

met with Mr. Fitzpatrick on July 18 and walked the property to explain what needed to
be done to comply. The hurricane hazards have been taken care of.
