I. Openings
A. Call to Order
Chair Piraino called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
B. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Wendy Kelly.
II. Roll Cali
The Recording Secretary called the roll and determined a quorum was present.
III. Approval of Minutes from January 8 Meeting
Mr. Zonenstein moved to approve the January 8 minutes. The motion was seconded
by Vice Chair Swoope and unanimously passed.

The agenda was approved by consensus.
VI. Public Audience
None.
VII. Old Business
A. Continuance of January Workshop
Chair Piraino advised that Officer Huntington put an announcement on the utility bills
and stated Mr. Lowe was to talk to the Palm Beach Post to put an announcement in the
paper for the March meeting regarding the Code Compliance issue. Chair Piraino also
advised that beginning in March he would attend meetings in Lake Worth and Boca
Raton.
When the new liaison is announced, the Board could get assistance procuring speakers
on gun safety. Chair Piraino reminded the members to bring citizens to the next
meeting.
Mr. Zonenstein stated he met a woman at the Library who advised him she had a
complaint about not having enough benches in the parks. He stressed for her to attend
a Community Relations board meeting.
Chair Piraino stated he met someone who owns a tax preparation service in Boynton
Beach and would invite him to introduce his business and have him speak at a meeting.
VIII. Special Business
A. Code Compliance Guest Speaker for March meeting
Chair Piraino spoke with Diane Springer in Code Compliance and she would be
attending the March meeting and giving a 20- minute presentation and take questions
from the audience.

A. Farewell to Liaison Officer John Huntington

Officer Huntington was not present at the meeting. Chair Piraino suggested sending
him an email to say goodbye. Chair Piraino also remarked that he would start fresh with
the new liaison as far as brochures and goals of the Board.
Chair Piraino provided a recap of the topics covered in the meeting and urged everyone
to bring residents to the next meeting.
X. Adjournment
Having no further business to discuss, Chair Piraino adjourned the meeting at 7:21 p.m.
