The Red Hot Boynton Beach Blues Cruise is about to scorch the Heart of South Florida.
Presented by the Greater Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Boynton Beach
Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and the City of Boynton Beach, it is a free -
admission event sure to appeal to the eye, ear, and tongue.
The festivities will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013, 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, on Ocean Avenue
and NE 1 Avenue between Seacrest Boulevard and NE l s ' Street.
Stand back as hungry fun - seekers flock to this first -time event with its three main themes and
varied activities.
Red Hot — Ocean Avenue will be on fire. Get your Hot Peppers here. Food vendors will provide
hot pepper dishes (and milder fare for the faint of heart). Beverages of all types will be available
in lieu of fire extinguishers. Other vendors will sell salsas, hot peppers, a wide variety of arts and
crafts, and, of course, ice cream.
131iii', — The Amphitheater will be rocking. BB King's Blues Club (City Place), the Backyard
(Boynton Beach), Boston's on the Beach (Delray Beach), and Two Georges (Boynton Beach) are
presenting (,rc,it 131tic. from 11:00am to 9:OOpm.
( ru Ht.. — A car show with a city block of (oof ( ar to drool over. Vehicles ranging from antiques
to hot rods to muscle cars to classics to exotics will show their stuff. The Top 25 will be honored
at an awards presentation at the Amphitheater at 4:30.
Kid attractions include happenings inside and outside of the Children's Schoolhouse Museum
and Learning Center.
The Red Hot Boynton Beach Blues Cruise is a free jam - packed community event filled with
fun and memories for everyone.
Attendance: As noted above, the event will run from 11:OOam to 9:OOpm on Saturday, April 20,
2013, with setup starting at 7:00 am. While this is a new event, the components are tried and
true. Because of the wide variety of activities, not only is a Large crowd anticipated, but also a
steady crowd throughout the hours of operation.
Cost: Flat fee.
$50 — Early Registration (Reservation and Payment by March 22
$100 — Late Registration (Reservation and Payment after March 22n
Space is limited. Register as soon as possible to ensure a slot.
Requirements: Vendors must be self - sufficient with appropriate tent, tables, etc. Space allotted
will be the standard 10 x 10, although some adjustment is possible. Vendors of all types are
welcome — salsa, hot peppers, arts, crafts, clothing, etc. However, vendors of food to be
consumed primarily at the event must register as a food vendor.

Reservations: This is a ten -hour food - oriented event with a tented dining area. Attendees will
have eating on their minds. While this is a new event, the components are tried and true. Because
of the wide variety of activities, not only is a large crowd anticipated, but also a steady crowd
throughout the hours of operation. Vendors are limited and menus are exclusive (further
explanation below) which contributes to successful sales but necessitates reservations. It's first
come, first served. Once your reservation has been received, if your menu is accepted, you'll be
asked to register and pay. You'll be notified if your menu has already been reserved and be given
the chance to provide an alternate menu if slots are still available.
Cost: Flat fee, no revenue sharing.
$175 — Early Registration (Reservation by March 8 Payment by March 15
$300 — Late Registration (Reservation after March 8 Payment after March 15
General Requirements: Vendors must be self - sufficient with approved tents and food prep
equipment as well as serving tables, plates, napkins, utensils, etc. Space allotted is the usual 10 x
10, although adjustment is possible. Insurance is a must.
Hot Pepper Requirement: In keeping with the theme and spirit of the event, at least one "Red
Hot" item must be featured, except for ice cream, lemonade, etc. vendors. For example, a
hamburger vendor can meet this requirement by sprinkling chopped jalapenos on a burger and
featuring it as a jalapeno burger
Exclusivity: Each vendor will have an exclusive menu as defined by food type and preparation.
There will be only one Thai food vendor, one Italian food vendor, one Mexican food vendor, etc.
Some ingredients might be the same, such as beef or chicken, but different preparation will make
those ingredients unique to each vendor.
