For February Agenda for Veteran Advisory Board Meeting
PFC Michael Metcalf Bronze
Artists Frank Varga and Rick Beau Lieu were approached by Kim Metcalf (Mother
of PFC Michael Metcalf, Army) and Kim's friend's Kathy Gwynn (who is overseeing
the fund raising) to create a bronze sculpture of PFC Michael Metcalf the 1St
solider from Boynton Beach who died in the line of duty in Afghanistan.
The friends and family would raise the funds to pay for this bronze memorial bust
and the costs to install it.
They would like to see the bust placed in Veterans Park.
If necessary, Artists Frank Varga and Rick Bea Lieu, as well as Kathy Gwynn are
prepared to attend your February meeting if more explanation is needed.
Please see photo with dimensions below (page 2).
