A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOYMTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPROVING THE QUOTATION FROM GENERAL
ELECTRIC CAPITAL CORPORATION (G.E.) AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CiTY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND
GENERAL ELECTRIC CAPITAL CORPORATION
(G.E.); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, only two (2) proposals were received by the City
out of seventeen (17) mail out requests; and
WHEREAS, G.Eo was the lowest quote submitted to the City
and kas been deemed acceptable by H.R.S.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY.THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CiTY OF BOYN~0N BEACH, FLORIDA THAT.
Section t. The City Commission of the City of Boynton
Beach, Florida, does hereby approve the quotation from General
Electric Capital Corporation (G.E.) and does authorize and
direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the attached Lease
Agreementt with modifications, attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

Master. GE is the lower quote~ Either ~unit is available and can
be on site and completed within 3 'to.~4 weeks of contract apprcval.
The GE unit is not exactly like the specifications we issued, being
that it has 7 exlsting offices instead of an open area with seven
work statlon areas.
I would like to contact HR~ to see if this is acceptable, than
place this on the agenda for the September 21st Commission meetlng.

the design and/or installation of the below grade

construction methods or the suitability thereof. Also,
this proposal is based on all foundation work being
completed, cured, acceptable for all intended loads and
free of obstructions prior to time of delivery of
modules.

RENTAL OFFICE TRAILER
Provide all services necessary to deliver, set up, tie down, tear
down and remove a 3,000 sq.ft, modular office building. Separate
units are not acceptable.
Unit must be like new ln. finish~ inside and outside.
Include in set up cost;
1. Wood or metal 'stairs and handicap ramps to meet all local
codes.
Interior partitions, doors with keyed locksets, and counters
as per the sample floor plan. All interior walls to be floor
to ceiling, sound insulated with fiberglass batting, finish
sheetrock or paneling with base to match exterior walks.
5 ft. high partitions, same construction.
3. Electrical receptacles, lighting and switching.
Complete skirting to match unit finish.
5. Restrooms must meet ADA and local handicap standards.
6. Ail floors carpeted or vinyl tile,
Fully air conditioned to support at least 15 staff members and
equipment.
Include up to date pictures of propgsed units.
Units must meet all local building code requirements for City of
Boynton Beach and Palm Beach County. Permits must be obtained for
all necessary work, but no fees will be charged, supplier is
responsible for all inspections to receive a C.O. before any
payments are made.
Supply delivery and set up time necessary after receipt of Purchase
order.
Term of l~ase is 12 months with renewal option.

City of Boynton Beach will be responsible for all water, sewer,
electric and telephone service connections to trailers.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all bids and
to waive technical compliance with bid requirements provided the
bid is otherwise in compliance and acceptance of the bid would be
in the best interest of the City of Boynton Beach.
