ReceiptMs. Springer presented the case. The Notice of Violation was sent on March 24, 2008,
to remove trash and debris from the front and rear yard, repair the screen and obtain a
Business Tax # property.# May 21, 2008, and

An outstanding water bill of nearly $3,300 and five municipal lions had to be paid, Ms.
Springer was contacted In November and the roof had to be replaced and permits
obtained. Ther_ was rotted wood on yrs porch ceiling, carport
calling and soffit. soffitscreens, screens" porch, windows X • doors all "d
to be replaced. There was open wiring an the porch in the rear, the wall in utility room
had to be replaced, and the Respondent #� w• and trim the overgrowthon
the rear and side yards. All the repairs were completed on April 21, 2014. There was
slight overgrowth, but in May the property was eligible for lion reduebon.
Bemadine Jones,Prodigy . + the priorowners created the violations
and the property was purchased at auction. The home was gutted and the property
management team did an amazing job improving the property. The property is for sale,
but was not under contract. Ms. Springer had photographs Ms. Jones and Ms. Ellis
viewed.
Based on the presentation by the City and comments by the Respondent's
representative, Ms. Ellis reduced the $27,750 lien to $2,000 plus $634.12 in
administrative #
Ms. Ellis inquired about the price of the home, but Ms. Jones advised they had not yet
determined the price.

Ms. Springer advised the next three cases were, for the same property. The Notice of
Violation for this case was sent on July 10, 2008, to secure the property, mow and
remove trash and debris. The case was heard on August 28, 2008, and no one
appeared. The compliance date was August 30, 2008, or a fine of $100 a day would be
imposed thereafter. The violations were corrected on May 21, 2012, accruing a fine of
0 135,900 plus ad ministrative costs.

THIS CAUSE came before the City of Boynton Beach Code Compliance Magistrate on the Respondent's
application for lien reduction on July 16,2014 nances, The

Magistrate having considered the application, all the facts regarding the specific code or codes the appealing party was in
violation of, the date of the original Magistrate hearing, the date the affidavit of compliance was issued, the current lien
amount and all pertinent information relating to the specific case and being otherwise duly advised in the promises, it is
hereupon,
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that:
I . This Magistrate has subject matterjurisdiction of this cause and jurisdiction over the Respondent.
2. The Respondent has met a[ i the lien reduction procedures established by the City Code of Ordinances.
