O77-31ORDINANCE NO. 77-~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON EE~CH, FLORI~ AMENDING SECTION 22OF Tt~E CODiFiED CILARTEROF S CITY TO PROVIDE FOR DEFERMENT OF ANY SCHEDULED COUNCIL MEETING FALLING ON ELECTION DA~ TO T~E NEXT ~SUiN~ ~;iWO~KING DAY; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS cLAUsE, REPEALING ~PROVISION, AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND FOR ©THERPURPOSES- BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1~ That Section 22 of the Codified Charter o~ the City of Boynton Beach, Florida be and the same zs hereby amended to add the following sentence: "That should any scheduled City Council meeting fall upon a date on whieh any National, State, County or Municipal election is held, that said City Council meeting should be del-erred until the next regular working day." Section 2: Separability: Each of the provisions of this ordinance zs separable, including word, clause, phrase or sentence and if any portion thereof shall be declared invalid, the re- maznzng portion sha~l not be affected but shall remain in full force and effect.
