Mayor Summers called this Special P~eting to ol~er at 3:30 P.M.
Mr. Shepard was present to answem any questions ~rom Council in ~egard
to bid of William R. Hough & Co, relative to purchase of 1969 Watem &
Sewem Revenue Bonds $800~000 par value. (Copy o~ same is attached
hereto and made a part -hereof. )
I~h?. Shepard confirmed the inter~st rate o~ 6.46% and had placed a
$16:000 cashier's check on deposit with the City as evidence o~ good
~aith and assured closing within 30 to 45 days.
Mr. Nylund moved to accept ~.~. Shepard's of£er. Motion seconded by
l~r. Wallace and carried unanimously.

Mr. Hopkins read the memo received ~om the City Attorney stating that
he hind found Plat 4A Leisurevitle to be in order as presented.
Hopkins stated that all requirements had been met.
Mr. Nylund moved to approve subject plat. Motion seconded by Mr.
Wallace and carried 5-2. Mrs. Jackson and ~ir. Michael voted No.

Mrs. Padgett presented the application ~or transfer o~ beverage license
at ~lfredo~s Restaurant. License ~t0686 had been issued to Samuel J.
Offie, dba Atfredo's, Inc. for period ending 9-30-70~ and Sylvio R.
Carpanzano had made application for t-2ansfer to him dba Silvio's ~ Inc.
trading as' A!~redo~s Restaurant, Everything had been checked out and
application had been signed o~f by all departments. ~. Michael moved
that.s~bject t-2ans~er be approved. ~iotion seconded by Mrs. Jackson
and carried 5-0.
Permit .to Solicit -B.B. Jaycees .
The application for permit to solicit by the B.B, Jaycees was presented
to council, Said group was sponsorin~ a circus to be held in Hypoluxo
and requested permission to sell tickets in Boynton Beach. Sales to
be handled ~by the same professional group that is soliciting for the
B.Y.A. ~i~. Michael moved that subject application be approved. Pk)tion
seconded by Mrs. Jackson and carried 5-0.

the City Council:
Pursuant to the terms of ou~ investment banking agreement we are pleased to make the
following offer to purchase your reeentty validated bonds.
For the $800,000 para value of the City of Bo~nton Beach Water and Sewer Revenue
Bonds, Series 1969 described more fully in t~w attached official statement which
statement is made a part of this offe~ by r~_feren~, w~th annual interest rates
and interest payable semi-annually as specified below :
Bonds maturing 1970 through 1977 6.50 %
Bonds maturing 1978 ~h 6.30%
Bonds matuming 1979 6.40%
Bonds maturing 1980 through 1981 6.50%
We offer to pay the aggregate sum of $784,880.00 and accrued interest
to date of delivery.
Delivery and payment shall be made at a time and place mutually agreed upon
but not later than ~ril 1, 1970 or thereafter at our option.
The paying agent and reserve acoountbank or banks provided for the bends shall be
designated by ~ within 72 hours after acceptance of this offer.
The bonds shall beer the unqualified approval as to legality of Me~srs Bryan~
Freeman, Richardson and Watson, Attorneys Jacksonville and Gene Moore III,City
Attorney of the City of Beynton Beach.
The City Shall adopt the attached official staten~nt and authorize ~ts e.x~.eutiq~
by the Mayor and City Clerk and authorize and direct the city adminmstration
take all necessary steps to effect a closing of the %-mansaction within a
reasonable Time.
As evidence of our good faith we will deliver a cashier's cheek in the amount
$16,000 to the City by noon February 17,1970 as full llquidatin~ da~es in
event of our non-perf.orman, ee and an award of the sale of the bonds to
us sh~]] be so conditioned.
This offer is for prompt acceptance end will be withdrawn at
