This meeting took place as a guided tour of the private and public art projects in the City of Boynton
Beach and originated at City Hall. Debby Coles - Dobay led the tour as we visited most of the private and
public art projects to familiarize ourselves with the locations and the condition of the artwork currently
on display across the city.
Each attendee received a "City of Boynton Beach Private and Public Art Projects" Revised March 2015.
Missing was the page which displayed the listing of private art projects, to be provided at a later date.
We began by driving through the Heart of Boynton, down Seacrest Boulevard.
It was noted that the CRA donated the banners which are displayed on Seacrest Boulevard. The murals
at Seacrest and MLK Boulevard are being taken down to be updated by the artist. One of the panels was
recently destroyed in a motor vehicle crash and is also being replaced.
We discussed a possible location of the Bloomer Tree. Suggestions were made for the Promenade at the
corner of Federal Hwy and Boynton Beach Blvd, the Boynton Harbor Marina or Oyer Park.
The proposed Art on Animal Spa fence will be returning to the Board with new ideas from
recommended artists consulted on the project.
We visited the following private art projects:
*The Mosaic at the Children's Services Council building

installed with new landscape.
