R16-0821 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION R16 -082 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, GRANTING A UTILITY EASEMENT TO FLORIDA POWER & LIGHT TO ENABLE INSTALLATION OF A NEW POWER SUPPLY LINE FOR THE EAST WATER TREATMENT PLANT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE UTILITY EASEMENT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, as part of the East Water Treatment Plant Upgrade, it is necessary to provide FPL with a ten (10) foot wide easement along the west fence line of the East Water Treatment Plant to a new electrical building that provides power to the southern end of the plant site; and WHEREAS, provision of the easement will allow FPL to commence work on the installation of the new power supply line which cannot begin until the easement is granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption hereof. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does hereby approve the granting of a Utility Easement from the City of Boynton Beach to the Florida Power & Light to enable the installation of a new power supply line for the East Water Treatment Plant and authorizes the Mayor to sign the Utility Easement, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A ". Section 3. This Resolution will become effective immediately upon passage.
