R16-090RESOLUTION R16 -090 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING FOUR (4) QUIT -CLAIM DEEDS FROM THE BOYNTON BEACH COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO FORMALLY ACCEPT THE ADDITIONAL RIGHT - OF -WAY AND UTILITY EASEMENTS FOR THE INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE MODEL BLOCK PROJECT ALONG NW 10 AVENUE (WEST MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BOULEVARD) AND NW 11 AVENUE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the CRA previously acquired the property located at 137 NW 10" Avenue, 117 NW 10 Avenue, Lot 23, Block 1 NW 10 Avenue and 146 NW 11 Avenue as part of their land acquisition efforts for the Model Block project; and WHEREAS, in order to construct the infrastructure improvements associated with the 1f Model Block project, it is necessary to dedicate ten (10) feet of additional right of way and a ten (10) foot easement for the proposed improvements along NW 19 Avenue and twenty (20) feet of additional right of way and a ten (10) foot utility easement for the proposed improvements along NW 11 Avenue; and 2{1 WHEREAS, the conveyance is necessary to complete the model block project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption hereof. Section 2. The City Commission hereby accepts the four (4) Quit -Claim Deeds from the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency to formally accept the additional right of way and utility easements for the infrastructure improvements associated with the C:\ Users \StanzioneT\Documents\R16 -090 Accept_ QCDs _(4)_from_CRA_for_ROW_and_UE_ for_ NW _10th_Ave_Model_Block_Project = Reso.doc 3[ 3h Model Block project along NW 10 Avenue (West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) and NW 11 Avenue, copies of which are attached hereto and referred to collectively as Exhibit "A ".
