~yor Madsen called the m~eting to order at 8:30 P.M.
CANVASSING OF Thee BALLOTS
Clerks Edith G. Hood and Mildred Hallier read their respective
voting reports, a copy of each to be attached to these minutes.
M~s. Tereesa Padgett, City Clerk, then made a complete report on
the totals. Mr. McCoy moved that Council accept t~ reporbs as
presented, and declare this as the official vote. M~. Banks
seconded. ~yor ~dsenmade mention of the fact that F~. Boos
was not presenL. Motion carried &-O.
AUTHORIZATION OF PAYROLL FOR POLL. WORKERS
~. BAnks moved that the same pay rate be authorized this time,
as for last year, namely, $20.00 for clerks, and $15.00 for workers.
This movion was seconded by Mr. McCoy, and it was unanimously
carried A-O.
M/u~UTES - SPEC/3~ P.~ETING NOV~R 16, 1966
Mr. Banks made a motion to accept the minutes of the Special
Meet~g of Novembe~ 16, 1966. Mr. McCoy seconded, and it was
unanimously carried.
DEPAHT~TAL P~EPORTS
Mr. Banks moved that the departmental reports for the month of
October be accepted as submitted. Motion seconded by~. ~Coy
and carried k-O.
DETERMINATION OF DRESS FOR BOARD DI5E~ER
Mr. Banks made a suggestion that the councilmen ma~e a decision
regarding type of dress to be worn by councilmen for the
Board Dinner to be held on November 28, 1966. Mr. Bar. ks suggested
either a business suit or sport coat for the occasion.

~Z~s. Tereesa Padgett brought up the subject of a newspaper
cl±pping, as requested by MAyor Madsen, in recognition of what
transpired for Bob Carnahan's father living in Rimersburg.
i~ayor ~dsen recommended that it be notc~ in the record.
Mr. McCoy .moved that this be'carried out, ¥~. Banks seconded,
and it was unanim~nsly carried.

Mayor 5~dssn made a suggestion that all ten candidates be invited
to the Board Dinner zt the e~qoense of the City of Boynton Beach.
Mr. ~Coy moved for this reconm~ndation, seconded by Mr. Collins,
and it was unanimously carried.
~yor Madsen, ~'a recognition of long and faithfttl service beyond
the call of duty, recommended that Mr. Kain, ~irs. Padgett,
M~s. Olive Wallace and Bob Carnaban be given two days off a% their
convenience, at any time they so desire. M~. McCoy moved tb~t this
be carried out~ seconded by M~. Banks, and it was unanimously carried.
