SPONSORS Attract private corporate donations, dedicated person for fundraising Corporate marketing to collectors Donation box ($20 for tote/$50 for T -Shirt) Sponsor logos lit on tent Sponsors meet artists Must be at event MARKETING Art in Motion attention grabbing, associated with the event hardworking, can become a world class fare. Like logo BB can be a destination to buy world class kinetic work and education Market aggressively to collectors, galleries, corporate buyers, institutional buyers, need significant marketing art campaign Art in American and Art News. More national outreach to press Resources from the county, shift to global event. Market on site to program map Outreach to schools PBC involved - Keep Boynton first Calendar conflict with other events (super bowl/local) Advertise two day event not opening reception Create a presentation on knowledge of how to incorporate kinetic into gardens, towns, cities and publish. # of people (count) VS demographic of attendees More media - tweet, snap chat, Instagram Inconsistances in marketing material Physical address Marketing/ Economic Development survey ARTISTS /ARTWORK Incredible Impressive Artists and their work were very impressive. Everyone there was so nice and very helpful! Price point (booths with kinetic for $500 or less) Artists taking down art before show ended Children - different types of interactive pieces Artists/reps stay wth art Distinguish artists from attendees Stipends to artists (increase?) Increase artist stipends, pay for their hotel and meals, have to address costs in the budget Elayna's tent Otocast App - great tool for artwork sites and artists info release earlier and market it to attendees - need orifi to download. (promote library wifi) Most gratifying for us was to watch the expressions of those young and old who saw the Portal for the 1St time, eyes wide open, jaws dropping and huge smiles... just made us feel so good! Artist dinner Sat paid by event AWARDS Award format - there were peoples choice award, and then international awards which were well done, it seemed like there was a missing piece suggested to have a juried award. Positive input for People's Choice Award and International Kinetic Art Award but need another one a juried award by participating artists peers. Artist's work included on the ballot just use artists name? Neil, Randy and Myself were so excited to be chosen as the Peoples Choice Award winner for the indoor exhibit OPERATIONS Most flow of traffic was between the Library and the tent. There was enough signage - good layout be more helpful with the map Coordinate a number sign where each artwork is with the number on the program map Info booth - Place to put the programs and direct attendees Event was disorganized. Just unsure where they needed to go to direct them T Shirt sales - year vs no year (year makes them collectable) Other promotional items - water bottles, umbrellas. Way to move attendees up and down the Avenue - vehicles (golf carts solar cars, rickshaws) Signage increase to direct people to various event activity locations Permanent exhibition space Improve tent space and increase size Need more activity on street Breakdown of event on Sunday 6- 8:30pm Get Ms. Coles-Dobay help with project management for event. Form a high level committee that can reach out for their contacts for corporate sponsors. ATM machine transport along E. Ocean Ave. oil W-4121- • . I did a walk around during the Jazz Band & our vocalist Donna Singer and the music was heard from all around due to the acoustics of the amphitheater. You hosted a very professional event FOOD Not enough attendees to sustain food concession suggested to have artwork/kinetic art booths in the street Different prices - some cheaper Businesses feedback: Amanda James Gallery - phenomenal weekend Best sales day ever. Its name comes from the ocean fish moonfish, which I find astonishing due to its loco -motor system; the way it slides and slants during its underwater flight is made spectacular by how its pectoral fins are horizontally aligned. This particular aspect has inspired me to develop a ' biotechnological hybrid that borrows and then mimics these biomechanical and bioluminescent elements outside the water. This is the likely equivalent of a possible evolution of this animal in an environment other than aquatic, and it is out here that the moonfish becomes a futuristic being true to its name, one that lives on the Earth's natural satellite. However, since we know of no beings to exist on the Moon, this hybrid fish may very well become the sole permanent inhabitant of 'the satellite. This imagination exercise born out of a play on words, that were thrown together into a context that is literally realistic, turns into a challenge both for the viewer and for the environment meant to host the sculpture, which can have the role of a replica or of a clone of the one on the Moon. Regardless of the context, the most important thing is the uniqueness of the object, which reflects - from an artistic standpoint and in a contemporary way - many stages in the history of kinetic art and new media, so much so that we have mobile elements that are electro -mechanically set in I motion, as well as and mingled with sensors and vivid lights that interact with the viewer via digital technology. Since this installation will be put together in a public space, it becomes also somewhat of a street -art, as it does not represent a themed monument, but rather an eye-catching interactive m6lange whose concept and physical appearance blends subtly into the background. ....._ , _ _rage 3 Artwork and Artist Name Final Artwork Information City of Boynton Beach Complete and Submit In Digital, Not Paper Artwork Components (Every physically separate item) Title or Five Word Identifier Metal Surface Material Foundry Palm Beach Iron Works Materials Galvanized Metal Height, Width & Length 2 each 4 by 8 sheets Key Information for Removal and Body of sculpture is welded together with cross bars 30mm Attachment x 2m black steel welded by crank mechanism for additional support Title or Five Word Identifier Wheels Materials i Rubber Metal Wheels - Height, Width & Length j 2 @ 10 inch, back 2 @ 8 inch front Key Information for Removal and Remove bolts Attachment Title or Five Word Identifier Motion Sensor purchased at J& M Electronics, B.
