Exhibition purpose:
These images and words capture my ongoing discovery of my new home state. I would like to share this
artwork with others who might be willing to look anew at our shared surroundings through my PhotoPoems.
BeneÐt of This Exhibit to the City and Myself:
City: My work is, I hope, a reminder that we are surrounded here in Boynton Beach by great beauty and
irresistible wonder.
Myself: I have shared these PhotoPoems on Facebook. I would be delighted to share them here in the
locale that they celebrate.
How will the exhibit attract visitors?

I am a member of several local groups, and would make direct invitations to the exhibit in those places.

Requested Reception Date: Friday, November 3, 2017, 5-6pm
Invite Greencay and Watochatee people to have information booths at the reception.

Approximate Number of Artworks and Artists: One artist.
14 framed photographs with accompanying poems. (If the space allows, I could include additional pho-
tos with accompanying poems.)
Description of medium types and sizes.
All of the photos are 8 by 10 color shots, matted and framed to 11 by 14. The poetry is printed on card
stock, bordered with contrasting card stock.

Opening Reception: Fri., Oct. 13, 5 - 7pm (Courtyard garden of 500 Ocean)
* Sculpture Unveiling: Fri., Oct. 13, 6pm (Public Plaza for unveiling ceremony)
Grand Opening weekend: Sat., Oct. 14, 10am - 2pm and Sun., Oct. 15, 10am - 2pm (Open to the public)
PURPOS E:
To introduce ofÐcials, area businesses, visitors and community to the 500 Ocean project, utilizing the Albert Paley
sculpture, Cavalcade, as itÈs ceremonial Åribbon cuttingÆ icon and view 6-8 newly installed Albert Paley artworks along
the Avenue of the Arts year long exhibition.

well as Congress, Bethesda, Woolbright, and around the Train Station.
Transportation and Mobility
¥Ensuring that we consider transportation and mobility in all of our considerations with an eye toward fu-
ture trends such as bikeability, walkability, complete streets, contact sensitive designs, alternative modes
of transportation, and technology.
Besides the minutes that captured the suggestions here is a board members list suggestion:
1. Helps with visual interaction in movement. It creates a unique community for the residents and
visitors alike. (Lets give them something to talk about)
2. It Synergizesthe Art's and Development properties, which then creates a more appealing place
for both businesses and residents.
3. It gives Boynton Beach its Own Insignia for the City.
4. Increases cultural tourismnot just locally but also globally.
5. Supports the Local Economy through exceptional design, fabrication and installation.
6. Denotes a sense of place
7. Encourages learning hands on as well as ascetic art expressions.
