Vice-Mayor Mahoney called the meeting to order in the absence
of Mayor BaDkS who was away on vacation~ Father Joseph McLaughliD
of St. Mark's Catholic Church gave the invocation. First Class
Scouts Bob Thomas and A1 Busher of Troop 305 led the Salute to
the Flago
Mr. Archie moved that the minutes of May 18, 1964, be accept~
as written. Mr. summers seconded. AYES: Are_hie, Sub. ers,
Madsen and Mahoney; NAYES: None.
The Vice Mayor brought to the attention of Council the
necessity for action in the matter of residents ~omplaints con-
cerning the operation of businesses in residential districts.
Two complaints had been registered with Council: Feldcamp
Electric Co. of 3412 Canal Drive Which had been brought to the
attention of Council a-t the last two regular meetings, and
TrU-White Roofing operating from 132 No E. 15t1% Avenue. The
Vice Mayor said that this was centrary to OrdinancetS-22, which
provided for enforcement by way of a public hearing and revoca-
tion of licenses. Mr. Archie moved that the Council designate
the next regular council meeting of June 15, 1964, at 8.~00
for the Public Hearing, to hear both sides of th~ two cases,
Feldcamp Electrical and Tr~-White Roofing COo, a~ that a regis-
tered letter be sent to each of the two parties, notifying them
of this meeting and giving them an opportunity to be heard in
accordanc~ with Section 15-22 of the Municipal cods of Ordinances.
Mr~ ~adsen seconded the motion. AYES: Archie, Ms, sen, Summers
and F~honey; NAYES.- None.

the Board Of A~justment, called the Council's attention to a
