Mn. ~Isf~oney moved that the City ~anager be authorized to answer- the request by sending them a letter advising them of Eesolntion 62-U which o~tlines th~ prodedure for them to follow. Er. Eadsen seconded the motion which passed una~uimously, The ~_t~_y ~anager/~read has letter of resignation to the Council, effective FeorUary l~V?1964. ~r. Summers moved that the resi~ation be accepted with regret. ~Ir, Es~hOney asked that the motion be amended to include that the C~ty ~ouncil meet to take under advisement the possibility of sev~rence pay. ~,iro Summers agreed to the amendment. ~otion carried unanimously. -1- ~yor Banks announced that appimca~ons for City Manager would be accepted ~nd that the Council would like for them to be submitted by January 29th.
