The meeting~s called to order by the Mayor at 7.45 P.M.
M~. Durkin moved that the previous regular meeting wD~ch had
been on call be adjourned. Mr. Pa~tzn seconded. Motion carried.

read.

With regard to a Resolution authorlsir~g a sewer system for
the City~ it was agreed th_is should be read at the continued
Meeting of the Co~ucil on ~ednesday~ August 6, at noon~ in order
that it may he acted upon a~0 that time.

~47,000.o0 worth of City bonds.
Mr. 0yet moved the adoption of the Resolution.
D~rkin seconded. Motion carried.
Mr. Durkin moved that $i9.000~00 be transferred to the
Water Department from the City Improvement F=ud as a temporary
and autho~isation be given to purchase of sufficient material for
two 6" lines parallelling Highway No,1 from ~.E. 2nd Avenue
to South City limites. Mr. Mahonsy seconded. Motion carried.
After discussion on the ~isposition of houses beiongin~ to
the F.EoC. Railway, it was agreed to request a ~epressntative of
the Fire Dep~w~msnt and the City,Building Inspector to attend the
mee~g of the Cottncil at 1 ~ ~

.~Ir. Dumkln reported he had conferred with Mrs. B~yant at th~
Casino, and ~o~d that one group of d~_cers meets on ~esday nights,
of which at least ~0~ a~ Bo~t0n Beach ta~aye~s. He suggested
t~s gmoupd b~ allowed to cont~ue, A second ~oup, consist~g
~most ~ntirely of out-of-to~ae~s, wish to have the Casino
Monday nights, mud he suggests ti~s be not allowed~ as so far they
do noz see ~it to oons~t with the Co'~ncil as requested,
I~. E~nest Sc!~itz of S.E. 20th Co~t. complained of a bad
hole in the street. Mm. E~kin said he and Mr., Taylor will go
over to ~uspect it s~ud see ~hat can be done~
Mr. Oyer moved that Mr. Partin, Mr. Mahoney mud Mr. Taylor
be authorised to dmaw up specifications and advertise rom bids for
a garbage tz~ck - packer type. Mr. ~arkin seconded. Motion csm=ried.
Mr. Taylor reported the deplorable condition oF psmt of the
parkways in Rolling Green Ridge.
The meeting was adjourned for continuation at noon, Wednesday~
August 6.

Mr. 0yet read bids for water wells from Morrill l~[ell &
Centmal Florida Well Drillers of Orlando sent a letter th~ they
were ,~aab!e to deliver a s respired by speciflcatiom~ in the
~fiv. 0ye~m~de_sXr~o%idu that J. P. Carroll be declared the low
bidder, Mr, Makoney seconded the motion, which was passed tuusnl-
~ously,
Mr. Oyer is to cor~fsr with the Engineem, Mr. Stone and 1~o
Taylor to deter~ine whether to drill one o~ two wells.
Mr. Griffith read the Bond Resolution for sewerage° After
thorough discussion, Mr. 0yet made the motion, sesonded by
that the Resolution be adopted. Motion passed un~uL~ously,
M~. ~a~.~in moved the Cit~ authorise the construction of two
wells and that the City negotiate in regard to pa~ent to !~k,.
