The" ~ Ma2-or called the meeting to order at 7.30 P.~.
The minutes of the last regular meeting of October 21
were read.
Mr. 0yet said minimum square footage of single family
resiae~ces in Track C., Lincoln _Memorial Gardens, was 900.
5~. Weaver moved that with this correction the minutes be
accepted. M~. R~nburg seconded. Mo~ion carried.

Mrs. Andrews requested a letter addressed ~9 her by
Sieve~ be read. This was done.
A letter from Mrs~ Andrews addressed to the Council was
read and retained by her on the same subject, requesting con~
struction of the road known as S~E. ~6th Avenue, and provision
of sidewalks ~ud curbs thereto~
~r. Weaver said the City is still willing to abide by its
part of the agreement~ if the County will provide the material~
He added the City has'no Jurisdic~ion over the whole street,
but only over b~lf of it, and its agreement does not include
curbs and sidewalks.
Mr. Ho!loway s~oke in support of Nfs. Andrews' request~
After further discussion Mr, Weaver suggested a letter
be w~itten to Mr. Ben Sundy and the County Co,lesion asking
them to indicate to us the facts regarding the R/~V so that the
City can proceed with their part of the agreement~ and also
notify us when the material will be available at the site of
the construction so that the City e*f~i~e~t can h~e its
equipment there to do the work~

Mr. Weaver moved the City glerk be authorised to request
the Florida Power & LfEht Company to place street lights East of
Seacrest Road on S.Eo ~6th Avenue. Mr. 0yet seconded~ Motion
carried.
Mr~ DeMeyer and others complained of dogs ~unning loose
&nd destroying their lawns etc., and also stated one dog was
d~gerous.
They were informed that under the Nuisance Ordinance this
was a matter of bringing a civil suit against the oysters of
the dogs~ and were told they.must present their case in court,
with prosecuting witnesses.
A plat of the Hillcre~t S/D was presented by a mem~oer of
the finn of K,C~Mock & Associates, representing Mr. Frank E~
Kilby,
Mr, Rehburg moved that tentative approval be given to the
~t provided a loop street be arranged. Mr~ Weaver seconded.

Ernest Green presented e plat of Glen Arbor~
~r~ Weaver moved that~ pending the necessary clearance
from the State Board of Health and other agencies concerned
and posting of bonds for streets ~ud water, the Mayor be
authorised to sig~ the platS the City to bear half the expense
the water pipe going back to the property line; no refunding
agreement to be givsn. Mr. 0yet seconded® Motion carried~

A letter was read from the Southeastern Natural Gas Company
requesting the closing of ~ a~ley~
~{r. Grifflth d~ew attention to the undesirability of having
storage gas t~nks in a C~ty expanding as rapidly as Boynton
Beach.
It was agreed Er. 0yet should discuss the matter personally
with ~.~r. Shelton.
Mr~ Knight spoke at length , egardzng the report he had
turned in on leakages in the City water system.
The building report for the month of October was read,
a~ounting to $394,868~00.

Mr~ Weaver moved the City accept quit-claim deeds for
street R/W from Kenneth H. Adams and Louis Mirasol~ Mr.
Rehburg seconded. Motion carried,

~ro Weaver moved the Resolution be adop~edo Mr. Rehburg
seconded, Motion carried.
Mr. Weaver moved for authorlsation to oall for bids on one
dump truck, two pick~up trucks, two emergency t~ucks$ one track
truck and either a one~ or half-ton truck.
~r. 0yet moved au~no~isation be g~ven to Mr. Weaver to
oe~ bids on the abo~e equipment. Mr. Rehburg seconded. Motion
carried.
~{r. ~;eaver moved a Resolution 5e adopted setting the
price of lots in both cemeteries at $50.00 for City residents
aud $100~00 ~or non-residents. 0pe_~zng ~nd closing costs to
remain the same° Mr. C~adwell seconded~ ~otion carried.
Mr. Rehburg moved th~ following be appointed extra members
of the Recreation Board:
Charled L. Gordon, 124 S.E. 24th Avenue.
Mrs, Wm. D. Hs_ushsmak~r, S.E. 28th Avenue

Four bids had been received by the Fire Department for a
trucks two of ~ghich were presented to Council for considera-
tion,~ one from De~arcc and one f~'om ~cAvoy.
Nr~ Weaver moved the Fire Department beauthor~sed' to
~ake the choice between the two bids, either one of which is
acceptable to the Council. Nr~ Rehburg seconded~ Notion
carried~
Nr~ grif~mth suggested that o~ers oF lots near the center
of town which need c_eaUmng should be notified that such lots
must be cleaned without luther delay.
