AN APRROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A ~UDGET
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 19747
AND ENDING SEPTHMBER 30, 1975.
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Boynton Beach,
Florida, requires an appropriations ordinance be passed by the
City Council of said Municipality each year, adopting a budget
showing revenue of the City from all sources and the estin~ted
expenditures to the various purposes for the ensuing fiscal
year:

THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the proposed budget for the enSding
fiscal year previously prepared by the City Manager now on file
in the City Hall of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, be and
the same is hereby finalized and adopted for the fiscal year
of said Municipality beginning October 1, 1974, and ending
September 30, 1975, pursuant to and in compliance with the
provisions of Section 28 and Section

Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$4,433~904.00 to the General Fund for the payment of operating
expenses and necessary capital outlay for the City government
pursuant to the terms of the above budget.
Section 3: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$7,460.00 to the Interest and Sinking Fund for general debt
service for the purpose of paying the interest, principal and
reserve due on the general obligation bonds of the City not
subject to statutory exemptzons and for redeeming such bonds
as they mature.
Section 4: That there zs hereby appropriated the sum of
$1,675,623.00 to the Water Utility Fund and Se~er Utility Fund
for operating expenses and necessary capital outlay for the
municipal water and sewer departments.
Section 5: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$308,000.00 to the Interest and Sinking Fund of the combined
municipal water and sewer departments for the general debt
service for the purpose of paying interest due on the bonds of
said departments and for redeeming such bonds as they mature.
Section 6: That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
$24,239.00 to the Community Promotion Fund for the payment
of operating expense pursuant to the terms of the above budget.
Section 7: That this Ordinance shall become effective from
and after its passage in accordance with the Charter of the
City of Boynton Beach, Florida, in such cases made and provided.
