The u~dersigned, Mort H Partin as Mayor; and S. Stanley Weaver, Harvey ~yer~ L.S.Chadwell as Coumcilmen$ and Donald Rehburg as Vice Mayer, being all of themembers of the Council of the City cf Boynton Beach, Florida, do separat~ely and severally waive any ~md all notices required by the ordinances of and/or the City Cb~ter of, the City of Boynten Beach, Florida,. and/or the laws of t~ State of Florida, of a Special Meeting of the City Council of the .Florida, to.be the 25 h day of anwar , 1957, pro!~erly Oome oeox~e' S~I Dated this 25th day ef January, 1957. Mayor Vice Mayer MII~u'£~S CF SPECIAL MEETING Mr. Stanley Weaver Weaver ~made the motion~ seconded by Mr. Har~ey Oyer that Peter Young(Life-guard for M~aicip~l beach) be granted per'mission to operate a Cabana & umbrella~rental service on the City Beach until Jmly 1st. 1957~ free of any assessments against H~w~elf. At that time he will be given priority on f~rther negotiation~ He will he req,~iwed to make only reasonable rental charges~ and net let this venture interfere with his dutles as Life Guard. Motion passed unaminouS!yo A stree~ R/W through er a~dJoining the hospital si~e was discussed to give access t~ property to the south and west of same for development. _Mr Stanley Weaver was delegated to meet with Mr. Paul Mercer to discuss pussibil- ities, in the hope a decision may be reached in the immediate future. A meeting with the County School Board was set for M~nday ~ght, to discuss their request for I0 Acres, of the p!anned~ball park grounds cn N~ 2nd Ave., to be made available for a Junior High School location. Page_ 2 The tentative plat for FCEREST PARK HEIGHTS was reviewed and the Council agreed to reqmi~e~ a 32' Alley on the west end of the development. Also agreed that two fire h~drants be reqmired. G~e on e~st end of SW 6th Ave; _the other on the west end of easement between SW 5th Avenue and SW 4th Avenue, Two bids were received for a Gravely Tractor with 30" Rotsry Knife Newer. Mr. Weaver moved, Mr Oyer seconded the acceptance of Jes D~W~rco bid f~r $330.00 as low bid° .Motion csrried. This meeting ,was in session from ll:O0 A,M. until 1:30 P.M. im the Couneil room of the City Hall. No one appeared, nor were any written requests recei%ed for hearings to pretest essessme~ts advertised for hearing te~ay. The mayor adjourned the meeting. Mayor Attest City Clerk
