Mayor N~aver called the meeting to order at S P.M.
. He read a letter from Brockway, Weber & Brockway on the
proposed expansion of 'the City water system to Rolling Green
Ridge Subdivision, also covering other developments mn
Boynton Beach. Several prints were enclosed with the letter
which gave recommendations regarding well fields.
Mr. Weber, in reply to a question, said they did not know
how deep they would have to go to get water.
In reply to a ~ estion from Mt. Shook, he said the treatment
plant will be atthe well site, which will be a cheaper arrange-

Mr..Field said he was perfectly willing to put up/the pipe
or anythmng else-, but that the first thing to do is to have
Mt.Weber m~ke a ~tudy of the whole thing in order to validate
thebonds. H~erecommends Mt.Weber Starting with some rough
idea of the over~all picture with Mr. Griffith, and then let
him and his associates work out something.
Mr. Griffith said it would be a mistake for the City to
consider only t~his one development at this time; other possible
developments must be taken into consideration.
Mr. Field said that Mr.~eber should work out au over-all
plan for the entire City.
Mayor ~ea~e~ offered the suggestion that the ?ity pay for
the pipe, if Mt. Field paid for the laying. M~. Fmeld refused
to even consider this Suggestton~ ~
Mr. Field suggested that the Engineers give a report on
the three different types of pipe.
Several objections were voiced as to the use and va~e of
transite pipe.

Mr. Field said six or seve~nbuilders are ready to go in right
now, as soon as the water is put in. He asked if there was any
way of getting an agreement right away before the Bond issue goes
through.
Mr. Weber said it would take about a month to give an
over-all report.
Mr. Griffith recommended that a decision be given at the
next regular meeting of the Council.
Mr~ Field said it was agreed that on the~over-all

It was decided to autherise the attorneys to get to work
