Garbage pick-up was discussed for Rolling Green Ridge and as
there is no burden on the city at the present time it will again be
brought up after the first o~ the new year,

m~nu~es of the last regular meeting was read by the City
Olerk~ Dorothy V, ~illiams~ and ~, Weaver moved they be acceoted
with one correction "~ to ~ ton roller" on page 2~ oaragr~ph ~2
instead of ~minmmum 8 ton~. Mr. DeMarco seconded the motions alt
in favor,
A transfer of license from the '~Ooera House" to '~Doiohin Bar"
was asked for and M~. Hood moved it be grsntedo
A full liquor license was asked for the Armitsge Bar-B-Q &
Steak House. Mr. Hood mede a motion this be gr~uted subject to the
State Beverage Board aooroval of square footage and conformity to
rules and regulations. Mr. DeMarco seconded the motions all in favor.
Six new street lights were approved on a motion made by
Weaver~ seconded by Mro Hood and passed unanimously:

Mr, Weaver reported that for all Civil Defense Equipment pur-
chased by the city~ ~0~ of the cost will be oaid by the State. The
fire deoartment needs a new siren~ 6000 ft, of wire to connect it~
two new radios and a oortable pu~p, An extra radio for George
Cb~istiansen~s truck would be very useful~ especially during an
emergency,

There ms no present solution to M_r~ Morser~s complam_~t about the
water that stands on the street in front of his lot on West Ocema
Avenue after a heavy rain~
Mr. Hood made a motion that a Resolution be adooted by the city
asking that the State give to municipalities the seventh cent on gas
tax collected for the uokeep and repair of streets, ~ DeMarco
seconded the motions all in favor~
Discussion followed for a sign for the Casino~ also for lighting
uo the bum~d~ng.
Councilman Deen reported Y~. Leon Gr~mons did no~ sa~ms~ac~or~y+' ~ ~
pass the electrical examination given him to qualify for electrical
inspector.
M~. Deen made a motion that no refund could be given to those
not having si~ned uo for their exemotions as it is a state law that
e×emptions must be filed yearly~ a~d adequate warning was given on
the front page of the Boynton News. Mr. Weaver seconded the motion~
