with the Attorney to cover completion of streets and water mains

bee~ made to the new T.V. ~ntennae 0~d~nance. ~. ~ed~ich read
from the L~ut~o_a Ordinance which ~poses a Fee of $3.00.
~*~. Ma~eister was asked if he had he~d whether the West
Palm Beach T.V. Ordinance was enforced. He replied that he did
not know about West Palm Beach, but that at Lake WC~th the inst~l-
lztion of T.V. ~utennae is controlled by the Building inspector.
~. Fredrich suggested that in view of the opposition to
the ChUgs, the Attorney be asked to revise the 0rdin~ce.
~. Weaver said the criticism he had heard was that the
council did not~ have the right to make the 0rdinauce retroactive.

M~. Griffith said the National Municipal Code originated
in ~as~gton~ is approved by the Board of Under~r~iters, aud has
been adopted by more than a ~nousand c~ities~ and that ~ne
Boynton Code is based on this.
~. Griffith was asked to revise the Ordinance and have
it ready for the next meeting of the Council.
~. Griffith read 0rdinsnce No.249 for the second time.
~. Shook asked if ~ne~e had been auy complaints reg~d-
the zoning changes in Coqmlna Cove.
N~. Griffith said he had received a IeST~er from the owners
of the pr°Pe~ty on the NoFth side stating that they did not object
Mr. Merkel on the South smde has no objections.

Du~ing a discussion on the number of bee~, ~ne aud
liqnc~ !ioenses, Mayor Pu~inton said that the Beverage Board had
stated that t~e Only way to restrict ~he numbe~ of such licenses
was to have sDecial zoning.
Police ~nlef Ca_Bver's report for November was read.

N~. Fred~ich moved that ~ne next water report include
the number and amount of water bills outstanding and the reason
of w~ter continuance to the delinquents.
N~. ~o_~isti~usen gave his report on the ~reets.
Mayor Purinton asked that the Zoning Bo~d include the
Zoning of colored to~n on their agenda for their next meeting.
After a discussion on s~uken garbage cans between the
sidewalk and the curb, du~_ng which Mro Grifflth said the City
would not be responsible for any d~aage or injuries resulting
therefrom as the City would not install them, and that the cans
did not constitute a hazard ,~uy more than a utility pole,
I~~. Fredrich moved and ~. Hood seconded that properly
installed re'gulati~ ga~wbage cmns~ ~pproved by the City, should
be allowed to be sun~ between the sidewalk and the curb. Motion
carried~
~. Kolendo asked if there was any literature available
on Boynton Be~ch for distribution at a National Exhibit to be held
January 1% in the Middle West.
l~so '~aite suggested the City obtain additional copies of
the Booster Club booklet now being printed. She was asked to
check and see what the cost of additional copies w~uld be.
M~. Shook moved, H~. Hood seconded: t~t the employees~
bonus be handled this year the s~me as it was last CW_~istmas.

Mr. Hood moved, N~. Shook seconded, that the City Clerk
be authorised to buy a counter height c~binet. Motion carried.
Police Chisf Carver suggested that parking on the South
side of 0cern Avenue be changed to parallel pa~king.
It was agreed t~hat this new pa~king should be given a trial
as soon as the street can be re-marked.
