Mayor Purinton said tb_e matter of the condition of Wells Avenue is being taken up with the County C~missionere~ and that the Eeneral condition of the streets is being looked into. M~rs. Waits co~olained that her neighbor has a large n'~maber of eats which frighten her birds to such s~a extent that she has sometiz~es t~ke~ out from $10o00 to $20.00 worth of dead birds from her pens. M~. Griffith, asked for his opinion~ said it was a civil matter rather than a City matter~ as it is not a violation of a City 0rdin~uce mud he could not suggest off-hand what should be done~ Mayor Purinton said the Police ~epartment would be asked to look into the matter ~r~d see if the ~eighbor would co-ooerate. it is not ~aown ~nether it cmaes under the heading of a n~isance or daz~¢age. Mr. Fredrich brought ,ap the ~bjeet of the proposed new highway~ saying that accordiny to newspaper articles there ~e only to be two outlets in Palm Beach Co~ty~- one at West Pa~ Beach and one at Delray Beach,- ~ud he thinks the City should make sn effort to get an outl~k here ~r~d~ fsiting that~ should exert as much oressure as possible to see that the outlet at De!ray will be-made at the north end. of that City~ which would be of more use to Boynton, before the plans are definitely 0~Kaysd. it was agreed by the Council that they should go on record as saying that everytb~hg possible should be done to get an outlet in Boynton Beach° Mayor Purinton said that at present the County Cem~.issioners themselves don't kuew ~qers the roa~ is going~ and if our pressure will help we should certainly use it. He suggested that 10% of the money taken from the parking meters be set aside for this pnrpose, ~ud also the pro- ceeds of the advertisements on the parking meters~ if this scheme is adopted~ ~e said he would like to complete the job before giving up his work on the Co~uci!.
