Observers' Corps to use the City Hall for meetings on the last
Wednesday evenings in each month,
Mr, Hood explained the reasons for the rule against
permitting use of City Hall for anything but City business.
~. Weaver thought Civil Defence might be said to be City
business.
~. Fredrich said that if 3round 0bservers~ Corps is classed
as City business~ the ~.~mber of Co~m~erce and P0~ would also
come ~s~der this heading~ but that he would be glad to rescind
his motion restricting meetings in the City Hall on condition
that on each occasion of a meeting one person w?s~d be responsible
for seeing that machines s~e not t~apered with mud thao the City
Hall offices are not otherwise ransacked.
