3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH,
4 FLORIDA, APPROVING THE UTILIZATION OF THE CITY OF
5 FORT LAUDERDALE'S AGREEMENT WITH ADVANCED DATA
6 SOLUTIONS, INC., OF OLDSMAR, FL FOR SCANNING,
7 INDEXING, IMAGING AND MEDIA CONVERSION SERVICES
8 FOR AN ESTIMATED COST OF $57,652.00; AND PROVIDING AN
9 EFFECTIVE DATE.

12 WHEREAS, Development Services and the Engineering Division of Public Works
13 are seeking to utilize an agreement of the City of Fort Lauderdale which will enable the
14 Departments to convert records to electronic format; and
15 WHEREAS, this will facilitate conversion to the desired paperless and space-efficient
16 work operation of the Department, as well as minimize record storage costs during the interim
17 period; and
18 WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach upon
19 recommendation of staff, deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of
20 Boynton Beach approve utilizing the City of Fort Lauderdale's agreement with Advanced
21 Data Solutions, Inc., of Oldsmar, FL for scanning, indexing, imaging and media conversion
22 services for an estimated cost of$57,652.00.
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
24 THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA,THAT:
25 Section 1. The foregoing "Whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as
26 being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption
27 hereof.
28 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida does
29 hereby approve utilizing the City of Fort Lauderdale's agreement with Advanced Data

32 Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage.
