Upon motion made by Commissioner Snell, second, ed by Com-
missioner Peterson and unsm_imously carried, tho appointment of
Frank Eo Howard as Chief of Polica, vice M. H. Partin~ ~esigned,
Upon the recommendation of Viee-~..Sne~l, ~t was agreed to
abolish the posit_on of Caretaker at oentrat Park after Sept 30~ 1942.

admitted freely upon being questioned by Commissioner Snell~

Furthermore, Corm~_.issioneP snell advised the Cor~ission

~d told h~m (Snell) that }f they were subpoenaed they would

HcBride had conducted his place of business.
