Dea~ Brother Con~nissioners:
Being ~f~licte with a form of psyoho-neuroszs and uDon
my physicians advice, I deeply regret ~hmt it is necessary for
me to relinquish my poet as City Clerk.
It would not be fair to you ~Or the citizens of the
community, to take advantage of my elective position to fttrther
my stay in office, when I know I o~u no longer render that
degree of service which the people generally expect and demand--
and at the same time fulfill my duties as City Cie~k.
~yassociation with you has ever been pleasant and helpful
and I assure you .th~.t if at any tlm~ you are in need of my
a~sistance on any p~oblem, I will he very glad and feel it an
honor to be called upon.
It is a real relief to know that I leave the affairs of the
City in very caoable and efficient hands, as I shall continue to
h~ %~w~ted i~ the ~rowth of Boynton Beach and trust tPm~ I
