Notice of this meeting will be placed in the Boynton Beach News. Motion carried unaminously. A letter was read from~r. Allen E. King, regarding water accumulating in front Of his property on the South Federal H~wy, and requesting the City to coooerat~ with the State Road Deoartment in correcting this matter. Motion was made by Mr. Benson~ seconded by Mr. Woolbright that the City furnish tile and the State Road Department do the work. Motion carried. A tette~was read from the Whitmire Tank_ Company, In¢, Jacksonville~ Florida~ stating that an inspection of the old water tank showed it to be in s~ch condition that it could not be used, and recommending dismantling. Motion was made ~YdMr. Benson~ seconded by Mr. Woolbright and unaminously carrie , that this Company be authorized to dismantle and remove the water tank. A motion was made by Mr. ?urinton~ ~econded by Mr. Wool- bright and unaminously ~arried that the Florida East Coast Ry Co. include Boynton Beach in at least two S~Os of the "Champion" and "City of St. Louis"~ and that letter to t~is effect be sent to Mr. Scott M. Loftin, Trustee of the Ry Company. Motion was made by Mr. Woolbright, seconded by Mro Henson and unaminously carried that new regristration forms be secured~ and the voting list be revised to bring it up to date before the next election. Motion was made byMr. Woolbright, seconded by Mr. Ross and carried that a Bill of Sale in the amount of $10.O0 and other valuable considerations, be preparedfor the sale of the Boynton Produce Market building to the Boynton Co-operative~Market Assn. Motion was made by Mr. Ross, seconded by Mr. purinton an~ carried that O. ~. Scott ~e release from his lease on the Casino, and th~ Frank W. Cline be permitted to occupy the living quarters and operat~ a soft drink~ etco concession in exchange for maintaining the bath houses and premises. Motion was made by Mr. Woolbright, seconded byMro Benson and unaminously carried to give the kitchen equioment now in the Boynton Casino to the American Legion for use as long as the Legion building is used as a storm, shelter and the building is owned by the American Legion. Motion was made by Mr. Benson~ seconded by Mr. Ross and unaminously carried that the following Resolution be adopted: 'lA RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME FOR THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA, TO SIT AS A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION IN THE M~TTER OF ASSESSMENT OF THE PROPERTY OF SUCH CITY FOR TAXATION FOR THE YEAR !9~8. ~HEREAS, under the provisions of the Charter of the City of Boynton Beach, in Palm Beach County, Florida, it is necessary that the council of the City of BoYnton Beach, in Palm Beach County~ Florida, sit as a Board of Equalization in the matter of assessment of the property of such City for taxation Durooses for the year 1958: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED~ that the Council of the City of Boynton Beach, in Palm Beach County, Florida, shall sit as a Board of Equalization at the City Hall in the City of Boynton Beach, in Palm Beach County, Florida~ on the 28th day of September 1958, at the hour of 10:O0 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, and 2:00 P.M. to $:BO P.M. of said day, for the purpose of equalizing the assess- ments of the property of such City for Taxation ourposes for the year 1955, in accordance with the provisions of the City Charter; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the action herein taken be given by two publications of this resolution in a local newspaper or by posting s copy thereof at the City Hall in Boyn~on Beach, in Palm Beach County, Florida. THIS RESOLUTION regularly passed and adopted this 7th day of September, A.D.~ 1958."
