V. Tattersalt~ Mm. W.~. Woo!bright Mr. F. L. Purinton Mm. The motion carried unammnous y~ and the following corrections were authorized: Mayor Tattersall stated he did not feel well~ and asked to be excused from the meeting. Mr. Woolbright took over the meeting. A letter was read from M.B. Baskin~ requesting transfer of his liquor license to William and Olga Yar~e~ for the "01d Dutch Mill". MotiOn was made by Mr. Ross~ seconded by Mr. Purin- ton that this license be transferred~ and the District Beverage Department, Palm Beach Co~nty~ West Palm Beach~ be so advised. Motion carried unaminously. A motion was made by Mr. Ross, seconded by ~. Benson~ 'ed and unaminously carr~ ~ that a license be issued to the American Legion Ulub of Boy/ltOnm~ to sell beer to be consumed on the premises. Request for this license was made by M~. M. B. Baskin A letter was read from Mr. Lawrence B. Jacobson~ re- questing permission to operate a movie for the colored population in the Club Continental. Request is for a~ trial period of thirty days. After discussion~ motion was made by Mr. Benson~ seconded by Mr. Woolbright~ and unaminously carried:~ that Mr. Jacobson be '-gransed temporary permission to operate a movie in the club for thirty days~ with the understanding that an outside stairway be installed before a permanent license be issued. Motion was made by.Mr. Woolbrfght seconded by Mr. Purinton that the six months interest on the'$60,O00.O0 Water Bonds be paid~ and check for $1~200.00 for same be forwarded to the Chase National Bank~ New York~ N.Y. Motion carried. Motion was made by Mr. Ross~ seconded by Mr. Benson~ and carried that the following lots in Gulf Stream Estates~ Plat No. 2~ owned by Godfrey Priester be assessed to him. Tax roll shows the lots in the name of "State of Florida": Lots 5 to 8 inc~ Block 15; Lots I to 4 inc~ Block 16~ " 5 to 8 ~ " 16; " I to 4 " ~ 17 " 13 & 14~ 15 & 16~ Block 5; " 15 & 16 Block 6~ total tax - $14.26. The Council authorized abatement Of cost of $3.25 on- Affidavit #641~ Joe Vitale; also reduction of fine on Affidavit #22W, to $6.75, in the case og David Adams Police Chief Tatum entered the Hall and ssate~ that Mayor Tattersall had just died.
