The City Council convened at a regular meeting at the
City Hall, at V:30 P.M., April 4th., 1949.

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pur~-nton.

read and adopted.
Motion made by M~ Ross, seconded by Mr. Hood,. and
uuaminously carried, that sale przce of $1280.oo o~ Lot 3
Block 8, Original Town of Boynton, be changed to $1000.00
and a Special Warranty Deed be issued to Otto Lombardo.
Motion was made by Mr. Hood, seconded by Mr. Shook and
unaminous~y carried~ that the following Ordinance be placed
on its second reading, and adopted as read:

read by Mayor Purinton. After brief discussion the matter
was tabled for ~rther investigation and discussion.

Motion was made by Mr. Shook,~Seconded by Mr. Hood,
and unaminously carried, that City to send one man once
a week to Casino for Beach cleaning.

The above bids were rejected and new specifications to
be made by Mr. Hood. Sealed Bids to be in the City Hall by
next regular meeting.
Motion was made by Mr. Hood, seconded by M~. Shook,
that M~. Charles Senior be appointed acting Chief of Fire
Department, holding present title as Honorary Chief until
further appointment can be made.
Votes were as follows:

Mr. Ross -"Not Voting"
Motion made by Mr. Hood, Seconded by Mr. Ross, unaminously
carried that the City pay $28.00 per month for a Caretaker
on the grounds of the S~uffleboard Court.
Motion made by Mr. Shook, seconded by Mr. Hood, ~d
unaminously carried, that the Chief of Police Deputize the
Caretaker as Special Police on a nongpaid bases for the
Shuffleboard grounds only.
There being no 2~rther business, the meeting adjourned.
