The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pu~inton.
Minutes of the regula~ Meeting of July 5th and minutes
of Special Neeting of July 12th, 1949 were read, and adopted.

Authorization was granted Chief of Fire Department - Charles
Senior to purchase four Indian Fire Pumps at a cost of $38.00
each F. 0. B. Boynton Beach or a total cost of $144.00
Motion was made seconded and unamiously carried that the

Due to the passing of ou~ City AttorneyMr. Jack Collie
it becomes necessary to appoint a new City;Attorney. Upon
recommendation from Mayor Purinton Mr. Shook made the motion
seconded by Mr. Hood that the law firm Winters Foskett Cook &
Tylander be appointed attorneys for the City of Boynton Beach.
The votes were as follows:

Motion made by Mr. Ross seconded by $~. Shook and unamiously
carried that Mr. Hood be appointed to prepare specifications for
a new Police Ford car. The Pontiac Number One car to be used for
a trade-in.
A true copy of Ordinance #204 is to be sent to Mr. Robinson
of State Beverage Department.
A letter is to be written to Palm Beach Health Board
commending the work of the Department.
Motion was made by Mr. Woolbright seconded by Mr. Hood and
unamiously carried that the following Emergency Ordinance be
adopted:
