AT THE CITY HALL ON THE 19THE
DAY OF SEPTEMBER 19~9
The City Council convened at a sp2cial meeting at
hall~ at 7:30 P.M., September 19th, 1949.
Councilmen Present:

Mr. Ralph Ross
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Purinton who stated
that the purpose of meeting was to appoint a Building Inspector.
Mr. Shook was appointed as a committee of one to talk to
Mr. A. Robinson and F. H. A. inspector about Building Inspection
job.
Mr. Purtnton is to see Mr. Bosworth about Pluming Inspection
job and it was suggested to offer himS2.00 per inspection as
most Jobs would require one inspection and all plumbing must be
tested with water pressure.
Motion was made by Mr.

following changes in fees and require-
Building permit $1.00 ~lus s minimum of
$~.00 on new construction or $2.50 on
additional construction. No building
to be figured less than 65¢ per cubic
foot for valuation.
Electrical Permit $1.5~ minimum for ten
outlets. Additional outlets 10¢ per
piece not to include space or water
heaters which willbe 25¢ and stove
which will be ~0¢.
City employees were instructed to inform all applicants for
any permits that the work must be inspected before it is covered.
It is a builder's obligation to notify inspectors when work is
ready to be inspected.
Notice to be sent Florida Power & Light no power be connected
to any new construction until okeyed by City of Boynton Beach
Electrical Inspector.
