Upon motion made by Commissioner Bowen, seconded by

WHEREAS, the Town of Boynton, Florida, is the owner, in
fee si~ple~ of certain lands lecat~d within the corporate l~-mits
of the Town of Boynten, Florida, title to which was procured
through fo~ecles~e o£ Tax Sale Certificates and. Liens for
Speeia! Assessments, ~ud
~EEAS, it is deep. ed necessary and expedient and to the
best interests o£ the citizens and taxpayers of the Tovam of
Boynton that the property be sold and thereby ~e-instated on the
Tax Rolls of said Town, and
WHERF~.S, V~m~ P. Somerville, a citizen and taxpayer of the
Town of Bo~nton, who is in the real estate business in said Town,
has proposed to the Town Conmntssion that he be given the agency
for t.Wze disposal of ~aoh lands as the Town of Boy~ton may own and
which the Town Commission deems is advantageous to dispose o£

BE iT FL~THER RESOL~D, that the said l!Tm. p. Some_~vi!le.,
receive for his services in connection with the sale of said l~uds,
sold through his direct efforts, provided, however, that said sale or
sales shall be consumated on or be£ore the Seventh day of &ugas$,
A. D. 1936, a sum equivalent to ten per ~ent (10%) of the sale-price
of said l~uds so sold, to be paid at the time the monies for said
l~uds ~ve paid over to the Tram Treasurer of the Tow~ of Boy,ten,
Florida, and a proper deed of conveyance executed by the ~Nayo~ ~ud
To~m Clerk of the Town of Boynton; and
BE IT F%~RTH~R RE~OLVED, t~t seventy per cent (?0%~ of the
purchase price of said lands may be paid by the use of ~y valid,
past due, negotiable writt®~ obligation of said To~, at the f~ll
face value~ plus interest of said obligations the remaining thirty
per cent (30%) to be paid in cash.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Bowen~ s~conded by
Commissioner Stevens and unanimously carried~ it was agreed to
make a charge of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per acre for the rental of
certain lands owned by the Town of Boyntcn, for farming purposes
~uring th~ ensuing season. ~r~ Bowen agreed to make
arrangements for the rental cf such lands.
& discussion was had concerning the disposal of garbage.
~v. Robert Eeyers, who brought up the subject under the impression
that the Town was without garbage collection service~ was informed
that Nrc Ralph Rhoden (his next door neighbor), has been collecti~
garbage since the First day of June~ at ~ charge of a few cents
per week° ~r. Partin~ Nater Superint~ndent~ stated that anyone
wishing this service could advise him and he would see t~t
~ro Rhoden called to make arranger~ents for their garbage disposal.
It was agreed to inve~tigat~ as to th~ possibility of
locatir~ on~ or two ~ite V~ay~ lights in order to obtain better
lighting facilitie~ in the business block on Ocean &venue.
A Resolution to pay claims ~as adopted.
