V1. Unfinished Business:
Library Construction Update
Mr. Clark advised the Library and City staff worked very hard, did an incredible amount
of or and the temporary Library opened on August 13th. The phones were not yet
operational so staff was answering phones at the main library, taking questions and
renewing books for patrons. The Library just of the internet connection hardwired and
staff had been working on wireless internet, Teteens and children's computers are
online, but not the adults. He commented most people wanted the It computers. to
apologized and requested patrons call the next week. Most patrons were sympathetic
and understood as it was a big move and it was difficult to drill through the floors
Dr. Hayden-Adeyemo went to the Nelson Mandella Library, which had a ramp all the way
up, and set ou t the layout was interesting. Mr. Clark advised staff did not have a say
in the design oft interior floors. The Library used two different movers, one of whom
has been in back and forth from Gainesville. They should be back on Monday to move
them into the quad and double trailer and to get computers, furniture, the copier and
phones all on line. He hoped all out be finished by Thursday. Mr. Clark pointed out
when the move was advertised, the City had to commit to the date. The stacks and books
were pretty much moved within the first three weeks. During the last week, he had to bring
books and they still need more books in the youth services area.
Chair Montague as about the warehouse. Mr. Clark advised there was a special CRA
meeting and the lease was approved. The owner had to sign the lease and staff should
get the keys tomorrow. The facility is on High Ridge Road and has about 8,700 square
feet. He hoped everything out fit. Staff goes over every day pulling book requests. Dr.
Hayden-Adeyemo noted there is a blind spot at the entrance. Mr. Clark agreed and
advised they will put up cameras.
Mr. Simon asked if staff would be at the warehouse and learned staff goes there once a
day. They will store furniture that will be used in the new library and recently sent 30
chairs to the prison system to be reupholstered with heavy vinyl. They will be in storage
when returned. Hopefully they will have new furniture at the Library. Administrative staff
was still working int original location and the telephones should be transferred the next
day on the 6390 number. He thought the move went fairly smoothly and the moving
company was phenomena[.A question was posed about the wooden stairs on the Federal
Highway side of the building on the second floor. Mr. Clark advised it is an emergency
exit.
Ms. Tebo went tote Library fort first time on Monday and thought it was cozy. She
liked that staff was available to direct people tot various book areas. She also liked
the elevator. Mr. Clark commented they were receiving some complaints because there
was no space for lounge seats due to ADA requirements. He pointed out if someone
needed to sit down, staff will offer them a chair. He already responded to a written
complaint about the issue and invited the person to return to the Library and they will
assist.

. Teo felt bad for the people ho have no place to hang out at the Library and
commented the signage could be better. Mr. Clark responded they added some today
and more will be installed on Friday. It took time to get quotes and staff had to go through
the City's permitting c ss. Mr. Clark commented they did speak about the temporary
location and had a Facebook live session once. The City also charged its banner to look
like the new location.
Staff has been very busy. Mr. Clark and Ms.Taylor showed patrons around the porn
Library and fielded many questions. As part of their new customer service model, they
have a greeter at the door, which was very well received. Staffwalks thea to what they
were trying to find and they will continue this service when they move to the permanent
location. It is welcorning andpersonable. Dr, Hayden-Adeyemo thought the publicityn
marketing seemed to focus on a new City Hall and not the Library, Mr. Clark understood,
but did not think the movesunk in yet, bort he understood. r, Hayden- deye o asked
if there was a name for the cohesive development and commented the construction did
not feel unified.
Discussion turned to whether there would be an opening ceremony and asking local
merchants for giveaways s f the event. Mr. Clark explained there is one in discussion,
which was originally supposed to be on the 23rd. Eleanor Krusell will handle the event
and the City just had to pick a date, Mr. Clark commented he would provide the date
when it was selected. Staff was trying to wind down, complete the move and get settled.
Career Online Highcool ) Update
Taylor advised there is Mill interest in the Career Online High School 1-I )and the
State provided 10 more scholarships, A few students are close to graduation. There are
six students in the works and one student did not complete the program. Mr. Clark
announced he was contacted earlier in the day by a member of the Lantana Rotary Club
and they are working to create a scholarship for graduates of the COHS. The Rotary
Board was interested in donating $1,200 and Mr. Clark will discuss it the next day with
them. T idea is, if a COHS graduate is interested in continuing on to college, they will
awardthe scholarship. The Rotarywants to make the scholarshipan annual event. It is
also Literacy Month and theRotary wants to award the scholarshipin September at
luncheon,
FY201 -201 9 BudgetRequest Update
Mr. Mark advised he thought he may have provided the budget information to the Board
afore as the budget was up for approval at two budget hearings in September and the
budget was pretty flat. There is still $170,000 in the book account. Due to the move and
space constraints, they have to manage a collection over a few years time and staff will
use some of the funding for digital resources. They will add Ancestroy.com, arid bring
Value Lime back to the reference desk sop ole can keep up with investing. The Library
used to have Novelist, which is an author database and have online book clubs available.
3
Meeting Minutes
Libr,7,ivy Advisory Board
Boynton Beach, Florida August 22, 2018
To use Novelist, the user can enter at type of books he/she wants to read and it will
come up with options. The author's name could also be entered and the program will cull
every book by that author. Staff was contemplating adding Hoopla, is offers
downloadable videos and another program, which has more academic videos, grade
courses and documentaries. Staff was looking at other options to offset the space
restrictions for print materials.
Chair Montague noted there was a drastic reduction in postage and learned the Library
has been sending a lot less mail. Additionally, the Library has a $59000 credit so they do
not need to add more to their account. Ms. LaVerriere also signed a three-year lease for
postage and when they move to City all, the Library will be using the City Clerk's postage
machine. The return on investment with the company to collect overdue books was going
well. Chair Montague thought some of the reduced costs were due to the move.
Chair Montague requested learning more about the interaction with the quilters and the
Library. This its will be added to the agenda.
1 ® New Business:
Ms. Boucard commented the quilts are used for decorative pieces and the temporary
location will have some space. She inquired how often there was a turnover in quilts. Mr.
Clark advised when the quitter s finish one, they start another and there are multiple
people working on different quilts. There are more quilters during son® Mr. Clark
thought there out be sewing classes in then library and it was hoped perhaps Ms.
Wafts would teach knitting. Ms. Boucard thought it may pique someone's interest to
become involved. Mr. Clark thought there was an issue with space, but thought moving
into the new facility would be a good time to develop programming and increase the
Library's offerings.
Vill. Library Director's Report/Statistics
Monthly Report for June & July 2018
Mr. Clark advised there will not be a July report because the Library was closed for most
of the month. As far as statistics for August, the Library did not have a gate count or
were they offering any programming so the Board may not have the July and August
report.
One Americorp program volunteer started this week for after school homework help and
the Adult English as a Second Language teacher in training will start after Labor Day, Mr.
Clark advised staff had already been approached out the classes. Ms. Tebo asked
where the archives were and learned they are on the second floor. Staff got most of the
archived materials in the storage room, but will have to put some in storage. The Library
did receive some new items from City all they could add totheir collection in the future
and the archives int new building will be larger. to received several items from the
it Clerks vault. There will be displays and citizens can gain access to the items by

appointment, Chair Montague inquired if storage at the house and the archives as
climate controlled and learned it was.
BouGard asked if the City considered a time sine. Chair Montague thought there
was a time capsule for Kids Kingdom and would look for a news article about it. Ms.
o cad rioted Galaxy Elementary School had one back in the late 1980s. There is no
a new facility at the locations but did not know if they ever found it. The archives have an
unopened time capsule that was not opened. It was thought the Library could also have
e.
Mr. Clark explained when staff converts book collections to RFID they will have people
working at the Warehousejust on that project, but currently Mr. Clark needs to determine
how much print materials will fit in the new Libraryto see if they have to trim their print
collections. He addedthought they would have o do so. He explainedCollection
Development is an art form, and individuals have to do it for a while to be really proficient.
Fortunately Ms. Taylor has been working with it for a whileand Mr. Clark even longer.
Taylor commented some materials deteriorate and discussion ensured it was thought
most of what would be trimmed would be non-fiction books that may be out of date.
Anything coming out of the collections will go to the Friends of the Library to sell and if
they cannot sell, then they will be sent to Better World books, which generates funds for
the Library. Better World Books recycles the books and sends their to other countries
like the International Literacy Program. They were doing that for quite a few years.
News/Media
Mr. Clark did not have anything i hint other than media about the move. Ms. Tebo
advised the Coastal Star does a good job of reporting.
Imeeting e to er 26, 2018 at Intracoastal Park.
Mr. Clark added all meetings going forward will be held at Intracoastal Park.
Dr. Hayden- deyemo noted there is no horn for the Brightline Train and inquired if there
was any note of this as a reminder to individuals crossing over the tracks. Mr. Clark
thought it would be handled the City as it does not fall within the Librarys purview.
Boucard advisedof all the information discussed at the meeting, the most important
was the greeters. Ms. Tebo conveyed she knew someone who went to a library for
year before he found out there were more books on the second floor. Chair Montague
thought it was awesome especially t the new place. The Library also has someone
stationed on second floor and in the audio video area as well. Ms. Tebo suggested having
a camera in the elevator. Mr. dark explained they did not have one at the old Library. It
was discussed, but Mr. Clark decidednot to install one. to is still working on developing
a security plan. He did not think the City had cameras in any of its elevators and the odds
of something penin on a two-floor elevator were minimal. He also noted most youth
prefer the steps,

fort other AmeriCorp individuals who are interested in helping with either program.
Many AmeriCorps volunteers that work in school environments and cannot get their full
hours can get extra hours at the Library. The Library provides the volunteer with full
training and AmeriCorp has to be committed to doing the work. Normally the Library

Mr. Clark has belonged to the Read Together Palm each County since 2012, which is
sponsored by the Literacy Coalition of Palm each County, and now the Read Together
event will be an annual celebration as opposed to a biannual event. The reading
selection this year, Best State Ever., A Florida Man Defends his Homeland by Dave
Barry is a short and quick read. The Library has about 12 copies and all but one were
checked out. Dave Barry lives in Miami and he will go to the Harriet Himmel Theater in

begin to accept RSVP. He advised it is a nice program and is in a cool historic theater
redone in City Place. Libraries and the Literacy Coalition will promote the program.
Starbucks, Park Avenue BBQ were formerly involved. The event is to promote a love of
reading. Some Libraries are having programs and trying to get in touch with Judy Levy
for a book discussion group at the Boynton Library, but has not yet been able to contact
her.
Ms, Boacrd asked if the event was a book for youth and learned October 25 is Read
for the Record, This year the book is Something BeaufifuL There was a big challenge
amoung the local municipalities to win first place for the most readers. Boynton Beach
has won it several times, but came in second place last year. The Mayor, City
Commissioners and many employees go out into the community and read to youth.
There was is a Mayors' challenge between Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach and
Wellington to see who gets the most readers. It is a fun, friendly competition.

3
Meeting Minutes
Library Advisory Board
Boynton Beach, Florida September 26, 2018
Mr. Clark explained staff is currently interviewing for an Assistant Library Director next
week. The part-time Library Aide position was posted, but the Archivist position and
Library page will be posted Int next few weeks. He clarified the Library Aide will be
stationed at the customer service desk or be a greeter. The Library Page position is
striGtly shelving books. The position will have a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours a
week, but often works more hours. The maximum amount of hours they can work is
29.75 hours. The Archivist position is a very specialized position. Mr. Clark
commented he will advertise the position in of Librarian World and The Archivist
World.
Mr. Clark commented the City Clerk's office gave the Library several items for the
City's archives. The Development Department also got about 150 rolls of microfilm.
He saw some building plans for Motorola on the microfilm and he was working with the
Development Director what to use it for in the future, how often it will be used, will the
Department pay for digitizing it and if not, staff can index the microfilm so it could be
searched to see what roll an item is on. Mr. Clark started on that project yesterday and
a volunteer archivist was working on the project and doing an excellent job. She was
creating a meta spreadsheet on excel so staff Gan record and indexing what is on
the microfilm. Some of the microfilm dates back tote 70's. He of there are a lot
of other items the Library needs to go through, inventory, put in protective acid free
covers and eventually make then discoverable tot public
Vill. Library Director"s Report/Statistics
Monthly Report for August 2018
Mr. Clark announced the Library Statistician was on vacation, but the security gate was
installed so they are now getting a daily gate count and staff will see what traffic is like.
Ms. Taylor thought attendance was about If. Before the move, the Library would get
1,200 to 1,500 people Monday through Thursday. Presently, the Library is receiving
about 700. He noted patrons were still finding the Library, He thought the Library
wouI d get busier when the snowbirds arrived. Chair Montague as about maximum
capacity, because the temporary Library is a much smaller building and the public area
is so much smaller. Staff was trying to promote, the Library is a temporary site and staff
wants to give the best service possible. He noted patrons are not staying as long
because there are no seats. Mr. Clark was greeting patrons the first day and most
peopI e were looking for study rooms and computers. Ms. Taylor reassures patrons
they will have those amenities in the new space. Mr. Clark and Ms. Taylor have been
working with the architect and City Administration on the floor plan. There will be six
individual study rooms and three good-sized multi-people study rooms with cool
technology planned. The new Library study rooms will be a little different because
groups like to meet there.
Mr. Welter asked out the design review process. Mr. Clark explained when the City
schedules the architect to meet with City Officials, Library staff is invited tote meeting.
4
Meeting Minutes
Library Advisory Board
Boynton each, Florida September,26, 2018
He noted the architect discusses the entire City all, not just the Library. The Library
portion lasts out 20 minutes. They review the plans the day before to have their
comments ready. They have met three times and the drawings are at 60%. Working
on the footprints, The archive area will be 30% larger because they were maxed out
and for future growth.
Mr. Clark did a lot of work with the Library architectural fin'n hired and they did a lot of
floor planning. They are supposed to come back on the job to help place the shelving
and furniture. The first floor is kids and teens and they will have a sound-proof virtual
zone and a few meeting rooms for the Kids and Teen AmeriCorp. Their initial thought
was to have some computers setup for young kids and get a is to cart for the teens
and they can go into another room or a lounge chair and spread out and use the
computers, Mr. Clark planned to get two laptops carts of 20 laptops each and have
one int adult area and one in the teen area. The laptop carts will be mobile and they
can be used toteach classes in the other meeting room spaces that are shared by City
Hall and the Library.
Chair Montague asked if they could see the most recent drawing, which he thought
were different than what was originally presented. He noted the building went from a
giant glass building to a very typical-styled building. He asked if Mr. Clark was happy
with what was occurring. Mr. Clark commented there are a lot of windows in the new
Library and more than what they had, sothere was more natural light on the second
floor, Mr. Clark explained staff has no control over the plans and things change over
time based rant budget. Mr. Clan( clarified the library consultant firm was brought in
at the beginning by Baker Barrios, the architect for the building, and the Library
consultant will be brought back in to finalize the floor plans and determine where the
cables, furniture and all else will go and determine maximum capacity. Those elements
have not been finalized.
Chair Montague asked if the budget shrunk. Mr. Clark explained he never is the
budget numbers. It is like a tennis game. If one it costs more, another it may
need to be reduced. Mr. Welter inquired if the Library would be funded in a way for it to
be progressive or is there a loss of revenue. Mr. Clark did not feel the Library was in a
bad situation, There is other funding to do some of fun things like the Friends of the
Library, Some other former Friends of the Library individuals died and left money to
the Library and Mr. Clark is saving up State Aid to Library money. The final product, as
far as construction is in the construction budget is unknown, but he will push and push
for what the Library needs.
Chair Montague commented he was cond the developer would offer something
great and cheap out on the public projects. Mr. Clark disagreed and explained there
was a maximum cost tot building and both parties have to adhere to the budget.
Next month, Mr. Clark set up an afternoon trip to Miami Dade County Public Library
with other staff and they have a co-working space at the South Kendall Branch they will
view in action. They have a technology area, arts and crafts area and a business area

where people and entrepreneurs can hold meetings and they will see how it works. The
Economic Development Director is interested inseeing how it operates and what they
are doing so the City can start planning. It is still in the planning phase and staff has a
lot to say how it is driven.
Chair Montague as if they could view her the Library is now in the project and
was referred tot Town Square site. The drawings should be on the website as
they were approved last Thursday and they are uploading new conceptual drawings.
Mr. Welter thought it was good to have the spaces but thought it would be fascinating if
there was a presentation that gives a theme or sense of what the space means. Mr.
Clark agreed to put the it on the next agenda and try to get updated drawings. Mr.
Welter commented as a member of the community and the advisory board, he wants to
see the community grow in positive ways. Mr. Clark commented, as it pertained to
economic development, staff has to figure out at it looks like, how it works and who
will operate it. He invited the members to attend the meeting on October to at 2:30
p.m. Mr. Clark went to a SEFLIN Conference in North Miami and they have sessions.
Two staff members hosted a session and talked about what they were doing. Mr. Clark
thought it was cool and contacted the Director who invited him down. it Montague
requested Mr. Clark email the members with information. Mr. Clark was excited about
the possibilities.
Ms. Boucard asked if staff promoted the library cards for young children and learned
Mr. Clark has not had time with the move. She hoped the program would be promoted
by the end of 2019 and noted the children cannot come tot Library without the
parents. Mr. Clark explained staff would be able to push it more next year. It was
hoped the Library would be done in two years, but Mr. Clark not it took five years to
build the last one. The new Library is a 110,000 square-foot building. It will be the first
building constructed int Town Square and it is a high priority. The City pays a lot of
money to lease the temporary space so the sooner the building is completed, the
better.

ESOL Classes:
Beginner Class
The Beginning ESOL class was held from 9:00-10:15 A.M. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and
Thursdays. This class was slow to start as people did not know that it was taking place. The first Beginning
class took place on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. 1 held 11 Beginning ESOL classes total in the month of
September. Enrollment in September was scant, but attendance was consistent. I have five (5) students
enrolled in my Beginning ESOL class. Three (3) of those five students had an attendance rate above 70%. One
of the had an attendance rate of 100%. The remaining two had an attendance rate of 27% and above.
Three of the five are from Haiti and speak Creole, one is from 05te dIvoire and speaks French, and one is
from Honduras and speaks Spanish.
Attendance for Beginning ESOL:
Student L: 8 out of 11 classes = 72%
Student J: 11 out of I I classes = 100%
Student R: 9 out of 11 classes = 81%
Student M: 5 out of 11 classes = 45%
Student W: 3 out of 11 classes = 27%
Only one (1) student, Student L, is enrolled ONLY in the Beginning ESOL class. The other four students are
enrolled in both Beginning ESOL and Advanced Beginner L. Two more prospective students expressed
interest in the class so I expect more to show up as time goes on, but I will continue to advertise for the class
around Boynton, and especially in the library.
I used Side by Side Book One to lesson plan. So far, we have covered small talk & exchanging personal
information, To Be, Yes or No Questions, the Present Continuous tense, Adjectives, Comparatives, and
Superlatives. Our vocabulary units included common classroom objects, rooms in a house, active verbs, and
adjectives. I received feedback from one student who said the class was too simple for her, so going forward I
pIan to use Side by Side Book Two to supplement the material from Book One.
A notable trend in the Beginning ESOL class is their determination to speak full sentences in English. Following
my small talk unit, my higher-level English speakers began to incorporate all talk in our conversations
before the start of class. My lower-level English speakers worked patently to build sentences to communicate
what they didn't understand, to participate in class, and to hold conversations outside of class. One notable
moment was when, during the rooms in a house unit, students were already using the Present Continuous
tense.
Private Tutoring:
As students have been showing up late to class, I sometimes use the beginning of class as an opportunity to
unofficially tutor students on-one-one. Often, only one student shows up on time. When this is the case, we
have a brief 15-minute tutoring period before the rest of the class shows up.
One student (Student W) officially requested private tutoring time. We had two thirty-minute sessions during
the week of September 24th-27th One of those sessions was spent catching him up on what he had missed in
class. The second session was spent answering his specific questions about the difference between "may"and
"might"and"how much"vs. "how many."
Class: Advanced Becinnina_ ESOL
The Advanced Beginning ESOL class was held from 10:30 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. on Mondays, Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Again, this class was slow to start as people did not know that it was taking
place. The first Advanced Beginner class took place on September 12th, 2018. I held ten Advanced Beginning
classes total in the month of September. Enrollment in September was scant, but attendance was consistent. I
have six (6) students enrolled in the Advanced Beginning class. Three (3) of those six students had an
attendance rate of 80% and above. The remaining three all had an attendance rate of 30% and above. Four
are from Haiti and speak Creole, one is from Cote d'Ivoire and speaks French, and one is from Belarus and
speaks Belarusian.
Attendance for Advanced Beginning ESOL:
Student A: 9 out of 10 classes = 90%
Student N: 3 out of 10 classes = 30%
Student J: 10 out of 10 classes = 100%
Student R: 8 out of 10 classes = 80%
Student M: 5 out of 10 classes = 50%
Student W: 3 out of 10 classes = 30%
Only two (2) students are enrolled ONLY in the Advanced Beginning class. I did not have any more prospective
students express interest in this class so I do not know for sure that more will come, therefore I will continue
to place advertisements around Boynton, especially in the library.
I used Side by Side Book Two to lesson plan. So far, we have reviewed the Past Tense, the Future Tense
(including Going To and Will), cooking food, ordering food in restaurants, how much vs. how many, do vs.
make, Comparatives, Superlatives, and English vowel pronunciations. Our vocab units included foods, food
groups, food quantities, and adjectives. Since so many of my Beginning ESOL students are also in my
Advanced Beginning class, I will use Side by Side Books Three and Four going forward, since I will be using
Book Two in Beginning ESOL.
A notable trend in Advanced Beginning ESOL is that students are very involved in molding the content of the
class. They ask fantastic questions, and request lessons. The latter has helped guide my lesson planning. For
example, they requested a lesson about the pronunciation of the English letter "A." I was able to spend a
whole week on English vowel pronunciations as a result. They requested a class on the usage of "do" vs.
"make," which I held. They also requested lessons about American culture including appropriate gestures
when meeting people, and how to interact with the police, which I am very much looking forward to teaching
going forward. One notable moment was during the food unit when one student asked how to eat healthier,
and the whole class participated in a discussion about nutritional foods.
HOMEWORK HELP:
Homework Help started slow since the Library moved to a new location. I thought that would be a big
setback for Homework Help with the parents having a hard time finding the place. Homework Help officially
started on August 21, 2018. Appointments for Homework Help started to pick up and parents were
finding the temporary location. It is great that we have a good amount of returning students from last year
and a lot of new faces. For the month of August there were 65 total sessions for kids and 9 sessions for
teens. For the month of September there were 171 sessions for kids and 16 sessions for teens.
Example: Apple came to Homework Help last year starting at reading level E. After working with me,
Apple was able to move to level G/H, and is currently reading at a level I. Apple struggled with a lot of or
parts and
or patterns. Now she is able to put word sounds and word patterns together without struggling.
Apple is currently a third grader.
Example: Last year Honey was reading at a level 0 and ended the year at level P. Honey has increased
three levels and currently is reading at a Q/R level. She was able to read fine but her comprehension was
what needed work. She improved so much and it is amazing to see how much she has grown. Honey is
currently a fourth grader.
Example: Kiwi went from a level F to a level L in reading. She doesn't like reading which makes it harder
for her to pay attention. Kiwi is now a third grader.
Example: Jack struggled a lot with reading comprehension and writing. When he came back this year I can
tell he had improved a lot. He is able to comprehend what is going on in the story and is able to put it in his
own words. You could barely recognize what he was writing, but now his penmanship has improved very
much. His mom was so proud and happy I am teaching him. She said instead of going anywhere else she
wants to be here at Boynton Beach City Library because she loves this place and knows her son has a good
teacher. Jack is currently a fourth grader.
Example: Avocado was at a reading level K last year and still is reading at a level K this year. My goal is to
get him on track where he should be. I have been working with him mostly with reading and I have been
working on reading comprehension. He tends to space out and get very distracted. Im working on keeping
him focused and engaged int book. I have taught him how to slow down and pause every two pages to
recount what is going on. By using that method he is getting a better understanding about what is going on
is he was not able to do last year. Avocado is a third grader.
The thread that I have been noticing in Homework Help is that there are too any walk-ins and not enough
people making appointments in order for me to prepare. After talking to my site supervisor we were able to
come up with solutions on how to fix that. If they are not signed up I will let them know that in order for
me to properly prepare for the students, I need them to sign up and come back the next day. I feel very
equipped with resources and can get whatever I need just by going to my site supervisors. I know the
staff here cares deeply about the students and that fuels me to do everything I can do help them improve.
TEEN HOMEWORK HELP:
No teen AmeriCorp support at this time.
Since we do not have an AmeriCorps member in charge of the Teen Room, I have been helping the
teens that need help. It is a challenge since teens need more help and when I have a room full of kids it is
hard to balance both. Lately there have not been many teens coming in for homework help, but hopefully
we can start generating ideas on how to reach out tot teens and make sure they have it space.
