A Regula~ Meeting of the Boa~d of Tow~ Cow~issioners
of thg,~T0wn,..9~_~ton, ~lo~ida, was held at the Town Hall
on Tuesday evening, February 4, 1936 at ~:30 otclook P. M.

The ~inutes of the Regula~ Meeting of January 21~ 1936,
Which was postponed to January 23, 1936, were read and approved.
Upon motion made by Commissi~ne~ Bowen, seconded by
Oommissione~ Stevens and un~zimously carried, She following
bills were approved for payment when funds become available:-

Mr. R. 0. ~era, on behalf of ~&v. W. B. Miller requested
that permission be g~a~ted ~V~. ~iller to construct a billbo~
on the N edge of Lot l, Block '~A~, ~e Addition, to adve~ise
"B~iny Breezes Traile~ Camp"; and also ~equested the Commission
to waive any billboard tax, inasEoh as the billboa~i adverti-
sing should be a mea~s of stimulating business activity in the
Afte~ considerable discussion, ConmzZssioner Stevens made a
motion ~at permission be gremted Mre N. B. Miller to construct a
billboar~i on the N edge of Dot i, Block "A", Lake Addition,
waiving the billbo~o~d tax; provided that such billboard be ~
placed back From the Building Line so as not to obstruct the
view ef North Dixie Eighway from the side street. This ruction
was seconded by Cenmztssione~ Bowen and unanimously ca~rled.
Upon motion made by Commissiener Stevens, secc~led by
Commizsio~e~ Bowen and unanimously ea~le~, the Fi~e Department
~f the To~ of Bey~to~ was g~an~ed pezm~fssion to Sponsor seme
Ca~nival this season, should they be successful in a~ranging
fo~ one to exhibit in Boynton.
~ne~e being ne fu~the~ business before the Boar~l, the
meeting was ad~fou~ned and the Commissioners immediately went
into session as s Board of Equalization to hear complaints
on the 1936 Tax Assessment Roll in accordance with Section 14
of 0~dinance No. 104 of the Town of Boynton, and also in
accordance with the following

You a~e hereby notified that the Bca~d of Town Commissioners
of the Town of Boynton, Palm Beach County, Florida, will sit as a
Boa~d of Equalization to hear complaints on the 1936 Tax
Assessment on Tuesday evening, February 4, 1936, at V:30
o~cloek P.M. in the Town Hall of the Town of Boynton, Florida,
and will adJour~ f~om day to day if necessary for a peried not
exceeding_th~e~..con~ecu~ive~~days. All property owners Lntcrested
are hereby ordered to appea~ at the above mentioned time and place
to make complaint or in case of failure to appea~ said
assessments will be considered final.
