A Regular Meeting of the Board of Town Commissioners
of the Tow~ of Boynton, Florida, was held at the Town Hall
on Tuesday evening, Sept l, 1938 at 7:~0 o~clock p. M.
Present: H.D. Stevens, Mayor
N. M. Weems, Vice-Mayor
The above constituting a majority of the Board of
Town CoF~ssioners of the Town of Boynton~ Florida.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 18,19Z6
were read and approved.
The Treasurers Report of Bam~ Balances, Receipts and
Disbursements for the Month of August, 1936 was read.
Upon motion made by Cormmissioner Stevens, seconded
by ComGnissioner We6ms and duly carried, the following bills
were approved for payment:
Florida Power & Light Co $ 81.67
Delray Beach News 24.~5
~. %9m. p. Somervill~, Secretary of the South Palm
Beach Realty Board of Delray Beach stated that the Realty
Board is desirous of securing the cooperation of the City
Co~missi~ns in removir~ unsightly advertising and other
signs from alom~ the Dixie Highway in an endeavor to make
this section of the State more attractive to our ¥~inter
visitors. Thereupon;
Upon motion made by ,Commissioner Weems, seconded by
Commissioner Stevens and duly carried, the Sanitary dept.
wa~ instructed to remove unsightly advertising and other
sign~
from along the Dixie Highway.

No. 150 upon it's first reading which was seconded by
