A Special Meeting of the Board of Town Commissioners
of the Town of Boynton, Florida, was held at the Tovm Hall
on Saturday,' February 6, 193~ at I o:clock P. M.
Present: H. T. Holloway, Mayor
J. P. Bowen, Town Clerk
The above constituting a majority of the Board of
Town Commissioners of the To~ of Boynton, Florida.
Commissioner Holloway stated that the meeting
had been called for the purpose of receiving an ex-
planation or an adjustment from V~. P. Somerville in
regards to a certain Tax Receipt for the year 192v,
bearing Serial No. 1002, which had been issued by
P. Somerville and had not been accounted for on the
To~m Records and to transact a~uy other business that
might come before the Co~r_ai~sion.
Commissioner Bowen made a motion that the follow-
ing resolution be passed and adopted.

TREASURER 0P SAID TOWN, BE PAID.
VgqEREAS, William P. Somerville, as Tax Collector
of the Town of Boynton, on. March 19, 1928, issued on
certain Tax Receipt over. h~s signature as Tax Collector
of said Town, which said Ta~Receipt was issued to the
Gulf Stream Realty Company in the principal] szma of One
Hundred and Five ($105.00) Dollars, representing payment

of taxes for the year 192V on the hereinafter described
property which said Tax Receipt carries the serial number
and purports to be received fo~ taxes for the year
on the following described property to-wit:

SW~ of the NE~ of Section 4, thence vunning
northerly on the East line of the SW$ of the

WHERe&S, it was ascertained on Feb~mary 2nd, 1932 that
the proceeds receipted for in the above described Tax
Receipt was never a.cco~ted for ~o the Town of Boynton,
Florida, by its Tax Collector or the Treasurer thereof.
VWHERE~S, further the Co~mission of said Town of
Boynton~ tlzrough their Town Clerk and Tax Collector and
Auditor, bas made diligent search am~is unable to find
where such collection of taxes has been reported and
accounted for on the books
have failed to find where
the proceeds therefrom.

session sitting, t?~t the Clerk of said To~m be and he
is hereby authorized to notify the Bondsmen of the said
William P. Somerville of the shortage, notifying them
tioat said Town is holding them liable therefore mud de-
manding the payment of the One Hundred end Five ($105.00)
Dollars, representing the proceeds from the above
scribed Tax Receipt and further that said Clerk m~il
copy of this resolution therewith and ~hat this resolution
shall be deemed notice and demand for payment by the said
Royal Indemnity Company of the State of New York to the
Town of Boyn~on.
Thio motion was seconded by Co~muissioner Holloway
and duly carried.
