,Serious c~.isIs apparently ahead, on C~A STOP Present funds
probably exhausted first week Februar~ STOP So fa~ neither
Congress nor President have taken defi~zite steps to
con~inue adequately STOP Already cutting quotas and
s~aggering workers STOP Reports received from other
municipal leagues indicate that turning back four million
ps. sons n~ at regula~ work and wages to ~elief rolls would
create serious dist~ba~uces STOP In my opinion only
mu~iclpa!itles san indicate to Government the imperative
necessity for action STOP Important you have you~ cities
wi~e President two Senators .Congressmen and Hopkins what
will happen y~ cities if OWA not continued also what CWA
