A Regular Meeting-of the Board of Town Commissioners
of the Town of Boynton, Florida, was held at the Towm Hall on
Tuesday evening, April ~, 1934 at ?:30 o~eloek p. Mo
Present: H. D. Stevens, Mayor
Wm. Menzel, Vice Mayor
J. P, Bowen, Town Clerk.
The above constituting the entire Board of Town Com-
missioners of the Town of Boynton, Florida.
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held March 20,
1984 were read and approved upon motion made by Comm~ssioner
Menze!, seconded by Commissioner Bowen ~nd un~nLmousCy carried~

Upon motion made by Commissione~ Stevens, seconded by
Commissioner Menzel ~ud unanimously ~a~ried, the above bills
were approved for payment when funds become available with the

dates for said office, the Clerk was instructed to have the
necessary ballots prepared for the election to be held April
9th, 19~4, having printed thereon the name of J. P. Bowen.

offer was accepted, arid sale to him by the Town of Boynton of
approximately 700 feet of one inch galvanized pip~ at Six Cents
(~0.06) per foot was authorized.

was read, Commissioner Stevens moved the passage and adoption
of Ordinance No 140 whic$ was seconded by Commissioner Menzel,
and upon beir~ put to a vote, the following vote was hmd thereon:

Thereupon Commissioner Stevens, as Mayor presiding de-
ctamed Ordinance No 140 duly pa~sed and adopted.
Ordinance No 141, entitled
AN OEDINfuNCE REG~JLATING THE PRODUCTION,
T~NSPORTATION~ PLANDLING, STORAGE, AND
SALE OF FOODS AND DRUGS IN THE ~OWN OF
BOYNTON, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING PENA~-
TIES FOR ITS VIOLATIONS°" ~
was read. Commissioner Stevens made a motion that Ordinance
No 1~I be placed on its first rgAding.. This motion was
onded by Commissioner Bowen and unanimously carried.
Commissioner Stevens made a motion that Liability and
Property Damage Ins~uce be taken out on the Sanitary truck~
with the Hoosier Casualty Company. This motion was seconded
by Commissioner Menzel and unanimously carried.
Mr. ~o E. Eraus was present and entered a complaint
against the assessed valuation placed en Lot 20 Block 1 -
Boynton Place. Mr. Eraus~s complaint was duly considered and
the valuation as placed against said property was found to be
in conformity with the valuations as placed against neighboring
properties.
A Resolution to pay ciai~ was adopted.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
