AN EFFECTIVE DATE AAID ~OR oTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City Of Boynton Beach,
Florida, recognizes that the cost of providing munie.i'pal services
is consta~ntly increasihg; and
W~EREAS, the meteoric growth being experienced in the City
of Boynton Beach is caBsing and will continue to cause an undue
financial burden on the existing taxpaying property o~ers because
of those improved properties that are receiving the many munici-
pal services, but are not yet placed on the tax roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the burden for
paying for municipal services .should ibc borne by all properties
receiving such municipal services as soon as such services are
rendered; and
WHEREAS, other set.vices snch as water, sewer and: other
utilities are charged for upon occupancy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
~ection l: That real property taxes as presently billed

shall be computed at the rate of one-half of one percent
(1/2 of 1%) per annum of the value of the improvement as stated
in the building permit.
~ection 5L That the Interim Services and Facilities Fee
shall then be pro-rated for those full months following the
issuance of the certificate of occupancy and continuing until
beginning of the administrative tax year beginning January

Section 10: SeDarabilit~: Each of the provisions of this
Ordinance are separable, including word, clause, phrase or
sentence, and if any portion thereof shall be declared invalid,
th~ remaining portion shall not be affected hut shall remain in
full force and effect.
